Exactly. There was no mention at all of the U.K. other than saying the industry is working collaboratively. No names mentioned, no capacity mentioned. Only the private aspects. It’ll all come out in the wash and if it evaporates then the govt will be left holding the capacity baby whilst we sell the best test all over the globe with our additional capacity. It’s a no lose situation but I don’t believe for a minute that we’re not central to the govt plans, after all, we know he chats to Bojo.

I think the govt have tried to secure capacity but we already had deals with the two biggest. The govt have been funding additional capacity. I reckon WaffAl was talking about our exclusive capacity today and the govt testing capacity that they’ve funded will be in addition. If that analytical sensitivity translates successfully, it’ll be our test that is manufactured and used everywhere. Why would Mologic sign a collab if they felt their test was good enough? Ours is better and will therefore be the test of choice.

Best analytical sensitivity on the planet. Intending to improve on that to secure world domination of the longer term market. Manufacturing ready to go, fast CE marking, validation under way. Mustn’t grumble I suppose...

Here’s a puzzle. Why would Mologic, who have their own collaboration with the aptamer group for their own CE marked test subsequently sign up for an affimer based test? Why would DVRG who already have an agreement with the aptamer group for aptamers subsequently sign an agreement for the supply of affimers.

Until we see the S&S figures it’s not derisked. Lab performance doesn’t necessarily equate to clinical as we saw with drool. As soon as we know it’s good enough, it’s all systems go. I thought that touch paper would have been lit many months ago, but here we are.... not long now. There’s not been a surge as there’s not been the initial rise to attract the P&D scum to litter the board. LTHers are doing just that and today is just another solid step forward. Once the big one drops, all those on the sidelines waiting for a derisked price will come back. They’ll pay a premium but that’s their choice. They’ll still do well as there’ll be a long way to go as sales start coming through

Why Europe? Diversification. I imagine Awacta are as sick of the govt dragging their heels as the govt are of their test tinkering. There seems to have been some blindfolded whiff whaff between WaffAl and Bojo, both not quite aligning. Getting our own CE marking and selling immediately is a clear independent route to market. It’s not mutually exclusive with the UK govt also taking some supply. They’re still working on overseas manufacturing. I hoped they would go all out and it appears that’s still the case. If this is best in class, the cat appears to be breathing but we don’t know how well, then we can sell and make billions. Great RNS.

It depends how it was done. If it was fair and genuinely open to all, not shorted down to the offer price by vermin in the city who already have their snouts in the trough, I wouldn’t have a complaint. Speculate to accumulate. If we need to double capacity but we’d double output and improve our margins by owning some of the manufacturing base I’d be very happy. It seemed more like a shout at Mologic and their money men, Gates being one of them, pretty much saying we’re gonna need a bigger boat

We definitely have a test, they’ve shipped a bunch to the EU to obtain this data. At this point Medusa start kicking in to gear selling globally and Boris starts bumbling as he’ll want a few as well.

Yup, a clear RNS. We have a route to market and have partnered with three of the largest manufacturers with possibly more to come. It’s also a route to the global market which is a teeny bit bigger than the U.K. and has more longevity. Assuming the outstanding performance translates sufficiently then we can let Bojo have a few too I suppose. We’re a matter of weeks away from clinical data, don’t forget the TU that is due. It also demonstrates that it can be transferred easily between parties on standardised kit. It’s a good RNS. I don’t mind the timescales, we know what they are - which is a lovely change.
