I see they are drilling a new gas well in Georgia with a 25 year production licence.How come they get one and we cant

Majors have the experience with big gas wells so a failed old drilled from old so Soviet days will not put off a major.
Just think what 10 new gas wells would produce that's the big picture.
Anyway we don't have gas pipe in place we're still waiting on 25 years production licence no major will invest in any joint venture until we secure the 25 production licence and that's a fact.
You wouldn't build a house or extension unless you had planning permission or a licence and if you did without your stupid.
I think a major has been able to see enough data from cpr and well tests to know what is capable about the gas now

Well i did say we'd never get real flow rates and never will.What they released today was to get share holders off there back and give themselves more time for deal to happen.
They got data they wanted and with new wells they now know what they could produce.
This hasn't for one moment put an end to a joint venture on the gas but puts to bed a lot of hype and hope.
