Thing is, Rooky, we don't even know for sure if Peel is delaying anything because we don't know if a time schedule has been agreed between PHE and Peel in the first place. It may be the case that Peel are actually complying with an agreed time schedule, but we just don't know what it is!

For those of us who have been involved in this company in various ways and following the development of the technology (as shareholders and/or engineers) for 5 to 10 years or so (and that includes Dave Ryan) another 9 months or so until completion and commissioning of the FOAK DMG (Q1 2021) may be regarded as "probably not far away now".

Well, that's how I would interpret DR's comment anyway.

I believe the Pyromex system failed in the end was completely re-engineered by PHE in the form of the DMG system.

The first thing we need to see is the access road to the site before construction can begin.

Well one thing that we should be grateful for (or rather that he may be grateful for!) is that with a name like that he is not a medical Doctor!

Have they ever hit a deadline or target?

The reality is , PHE wouldn't have been able to raise the funds for the first DMG unit on their own. That was supposed to be W2T's assignment, but after a year of trying it became apparent that they couldn't raise the funds themselves.

The problem with the first DMG unit is simply that it is by definition, the first. No-one want to take on the risk of the first unit with new technology. That's why PHE were delighted when Peel stepped in, offering to develop not just the first one, but about a dozen or more thereafter. I can't think of any other company who might be in a position to equal that.

Thanks very much LedZep for that very detailed reply. Absolutely great! And yes I can follow that perfectly. I hope they will be getting on with these roads to allow access to plot 10B very soon.

That is exactly what the FOAK (First of a Kind) DMG at Protos is all about. Dave Ryan has said on more than one occasion that they have many (many) interested parties and potential customers but that they all want to be second to build, not first, which is why the FOAK at Protos is so important and is why Dave Ryan is stepping down as CEO to focus on this project.

Also remember that Peel have at least another 10 sites of their own in mind for installation of DMG units once the FOAK is up and running.

Hi LedZep:
Given your local knowledge and frequent visits to the site, could you please confirm if my understanding is correct, as follows:
- The site (plot 10B) has been cleared some time ago, but no roads laid down yet.
- I assume that building on site will not start until the road, in some basic form at least, has been laid down on the site.
- Looking at the plan on the internet, the 10B access seems to be a spur coming off the road that runs along the west side of plot 9B.
- So in that case, the spur to 10B cannot be done until completion of the road that runs around 9B.
Have I got that right so far?

In what way does it look shady DW? It seems pretty normal and above board to me. Why should an employee or ex-director not be allowed to cash in his/her options and sell them on the market whenever they decide?

There is always a time period before they can exercise their options, and there is also an expiry date. All of the details about options granted are shown in the YE Accounts.

Of course DW, that's the only reason that anyone would pay out good money to exercise their option to buy shares, unless the option was about to expire, which these are not.

Of course I don't know which director it is, but my guess is it's an ex-Director.

Amendment/update to my previous post at 18:46:
These were not warrants, they were options granted to the Directors on 6th March 2018, at an exercise price of 0.6 pence.
But the same still applies i.e. this is not a "raising" of funds by the company, this is an individual exercising their option to acquire shares at the agreed exercise price.

JMC and Dessertwolf: This is not a "raising" of funds by the company, this is someone exercising warrants, which they have a right to do. The company has no alternative but to issue new shares at the agreed price as requested by the holder of the warrants.
