I don't believe that either of the take-over scenarios is a flyer. PHE and HUI are providing two different things. PHE need to have agents/developers in different parts of the world if we are going to develop rapidly i.e. in leaps of 100 or 200 DMG's in short order. PHE can't raise the capital to develop and instal that sort of numbers, nor an they provide the admin to deal with that sort of rapid expansion in different parts of the world by themselves.

As far as grants are concerned, under the present structure it's not PHE who will be eligible for any grants, it will be the developers or actually it will be the SPVs. The EU won't be giving any grants to SPVs in the UK, and in my view there is little chance of getting grants from the UK government. But in Europe, the SPVs who are building DMGs are very likely to get grants of some description, which will undoubtedly help to speed up the number of units being developed, which is beneficial to PHE under the existing structure.

No mention of hydrogen from waste plastic that I can see.

Or perhaps the annual fee should be variable, based on a basket of energy prices?

I realise that you addressed your post to Dr.A, but can I just jump in here with an observation. As far as I am aware, Peel haven't paid PHE the fee for the exclusive right yet, so I'm not really sure that PHE have been prevented from building their own DMG unit if they had wanted to, or taking a share in another SPV with another party, e.g. a local authority. So in that respect, I'm. not convinced that PHE's hands have been tied so far.

Another point, Dave Ryan said several times that although they had lots of interest from other potential customers, everyone wanted to the second, no-one except Peel at the point was prepared to go first. So I don't believe that Peel was preventing PHE doing something themselves or with another party.

And finally, I don't know the details of the exclusivity agreements with Peel or HUI or anyone else, but I would be surprised if PHE tie their own hands in these agreements. It would make sense if they retain the right to enter into a SPV shareholder arrangement with someone else. In other words, surely the exclusivity agreement can't exclude PHE themselves?

So no update on the CEO situation.

I can think of three possible reasons why someone would exercise their options:
- The options are about to expire if they don't exercise them now;
- They want to sell and take their profit now because they don't envisage the SP going higher in the near term;
- They need the cash now.

I'm hoping that this will be enough to give the BoD a big enough jolt that they will do something or come with a statement that will hopefully put our minds at rest.

Throughout this entire project for the past year or more there have been far too many delays and procrastinations from both PHE and Peel, in my view. It's really at a point now where they need to understand the frustration in the ranks and get their arses in gear.

My thoughts are similar to yours Doc. I think it would be unwise to jump ahead seeking an EGM at the outset, but as you suggest put the case to the BoD (and possibly the NOMAD?) in the first instance. If you make them aware that you have 6.7% support (and possibly more by the middle of next week) then I'm sure they will understand the significance of that! And they would be foolish not to respond in a proper manner.

Of course if they can assure us that they have identified someone for the post of CEO and that they can start next week, then...

That's an excellent well balanced report.

I may be wrong, but I think it's two different animals. These are fuel cells for vehicles, which is not an area that AFC are involved in, as far as I know.

The government is giving interest free loans up to £28,000 for anyone to buy an all-electric car. But I'm not aware of any similar scheme to help those wishing to buy a Hydrogen-FC car.

The great thing about the DMG is that there are multiple sources of revenue, gate fees for taking the waste materials, and sale of hydrogen and/or electricity.
