I can't believe that £95.55k at 35.15p was a buy. Surely not at that price. Must have been a sell.

I wonder if they have arranged the lease through a finance company in which case AFC would sell the unit to the finance company rather than receiving lease payments from Keltbray?

I thought it should have been made clear (for the benefit of anyone who doesn't have a basic understanding of chemistry) that "carbon" isn't the enemy of the environment, it's carbon dioxide (CO2) (and of course methane). Carbon is not harmful to the environment until it is burned. It's just unfortunate that it has become popular to talk about making every process "carbon neutral".

I also didn't like the comparison that was made with incineration. Completely different process.

I must say I wasn't overly impressed with that explanation about emissions.

Jonnn, Neither RA's name nor his investment company appear in the list of significant shareholders in the company's web site, so I assume that he has sold all of his shares, or that he holds less than 3%.

Exactly Dr.A., a David Ryan explained on several occasions. And that's why PHE were so pleased to get involved with Peel, because Peel realised the PHE's technology fitted into their WTE parks, and they were prepared to take the FOAK on board.

(Well, not initially actually, because W2T was supposed to be the "developer" and Peel would simply lease them the plot, but when W2T failed to do that, then Peel took in on board.)

So that's why PHE wants to stick with Peel for now, because none of the local authorities or waste companies are prepared to risk building the FOAK.

On the contrary, if the oil price keeps going up that will increase the demand for alternative means of fuel for energy such as AFC's fuel cells.

Tatty, it's just a calculation to see how many DMGs would be required to justify an SP of £1 at some unspecified point in the future.
