LedZep: Yes, I looked at the agenda yesterday and saw that Peel's application has not yet reached the committee stage. It's really frustrating considering all the fuss and concern about waste plastic and the environment. You'd think that whoever is dragging their heels on this would be getting a rocket up their a****. Not surprising that Peel don't want to start spending money on developing plot 10B until they get planning permission for the other related facilities.

The Rothesay application is taking even longer, submitted on 10th August last year, and still hasn't got to the committee for approval. The last Dunbartonshire planning meeting 20th May was cancelled because there was no outstanding business! Unbelievable! Next planning meeting is scheduled for 8th June.

Audible, of course HUI are focused on the DMG technology. What other technology do you think they intend to use for the Ireland project? Where do you think they are going to get it from?

Personally I don't think Peel will move on this until they get planning permission for their application submitted on 7 October last year. There wouldn't be any point in building the DMG facility until the waste plastics facility is sorted.

I'm hoping that Peel's planning application will come up at the next planning meeting on 10th May, then we may start to see some movement on those plots shortly afterwards if the application is approved, as well as our plot 10B which will be getting its feedstock from one or more of those facilities. The agenda for the meeting will be issued next week, possibly next Monday.

Referring to Peel's planning application dated 7 October 2021, do we know which companies will be occupying Plots 10A and 11 to carry out plastics recycling?

TBH, I wish HUI would use the terminology "using PHE's DMG technology", and this has been discussed previously on these boards.

There are two separate systems involved, TRL's pyrolysis system to produce wax and fuel from plastic, and HUI's "pyrolysis" system to produce syngas and hydrogen, which I believe is the DMG system. I have noted that the DMG technology is sometimes referred to as "pyrolysis" and I believe that is the case here.

This RNS from HUI dated 24 February would strongly suggest that they do not have a problem with funding from the EU.

Joe, don't get hung up about the "incinerator comparison". The only person I'm aware of that has brought this up is Audible Energy, and I think it's fair to say that he is somewhat confused, judging by his past ramblings on here. It is perfectly clear that the DMG technology is not incineration.
