long time no post.. i remain confident i can give tro (i think it was with trin?) a run for his money to year end in the "best bet" for 2017 comp. trust all doing well.. work on 2018 tip started...

i would suggest looking at the history (recent) of ATS. i have been invested for over 20 years. recent times have seen the sp discount to nav narrow very considerably. all to do with corporate actions etc. i have reduced my holding over recent months to a fraction of past holdings.

my pick for the year (sdx) was a tight run matter- sdx moved up sharply in the week prior..other choice was sqz. um sqz has done better so far this year - against my entry points in mid dec..it is neck and neck. same initial funds in each. each de-risked since. still think sdx may be the better, but maintain balance in each.. very different plays on oilers, but both funded with upside.. now back to sleep in the cave.

no prob mate was not sure if you understood the position - i am a big fan of pmg as a long term hold. the cashflow positive is of course at op level pre G&A costs. so still burning cash at current times. but with c.50% of the mcap in cash i remain content - even if the comms to the market are first order crap. recent deals have been interesting - nice positions taken on new and existing assets at low cost. still think TC will do a larger deal some time soon. pdl was always going to be a slow burner at current oil price, as sour.
