birdseye why would a carried nat oil co "snap up" a licence holder after (or before ) 3D? why has the nat oil co got its carried stake if not for return? why would they buy the rest?

i do not know when you bought in and what investment case you saw then..(not sure i care to be frank). the current investment case is simple.. sl phase 1 gets developed with 50% NPV to rkh with pmo as partner..further phases on original equity and carry..now that deal may change again..OR sl does not happen and rkh is a small scale producer with cash..now lets call that red or black.. red = cashflow beyond the mcap per year (from phase 1)..black is cash at bank and production to maintain o/h (oh and the sl asset of course).. now what are the chances of red or black? i will leave you to review the numbers of the IRR at various oil prices / upfront cap ex/ capex timing.. but what about a farmin? um..now why did rkh & fogl do the deal..oh i recall..make a farmin easier to do..so ano buys in.. anyway..GL here..

rizq786 most of what you state is broadly agreed. however: 3D can not give you any reserves what so ever. it can however increase (or decrease) the COS of prospective resource. i happen not to believe the MM's are playing any "tricks" or the like as to state they are as a matter of fact is wrong in my view. i do not post "spam" . i post opinion and fact (and i try to be clear which each statement is) - that is not spam. regarding being childish. that is a matter of opinion. i however do believe bullys should be faced and never given into. have fun, and GL

looks to me like a normal market..a few buys and the ask price increases..a few sells and bid price decreases. i don't see MM's doing anything other than making a normal market.

The cos could go up on 3D or go down ! In my experience it does not often move from 12 to 30% which is where I think it needs to be for a wildcat well to be commercially feasiable.

I would assume at 46 bar no compression required into the grid and again assume no condi to deal with (shame on value but great for speedy connection) but more importantly no h2s or co2...would be good to know the expected frac increase... it I guess we will find out...
