Not sure if the MM's are at work here or not? I think the sheer volume of red sells could be the major contributor toward the southern direction of the SP. They certainly played a large part last week and so far today more transactions have been red as opposed to blue. I suspect this will cease at some point with the resulting SP finding it's level. Not easy to see how much lower the SP will go though before it levels off? I'm expecting an Uskmouth power station (UPS) update from the SAE team at some point during this next week or two but hopefully this week. Just getting back to the Drax article, it very much demonstrates that new technologies e.g. carbon are coming to the fore and NRW will know this so they know that any EP they grant SAE will be worse case scenario. This could be a positive or even a decider when making their ultimate decision. In so far as the UPS is concerned and as posted last week, we all know there are going to be challenges due to it being a first and one-of-kind project, matters, we are reliably advised are very much on-track. We look forward to hearing the update soon not to mention a string of positive RNS updates as I'm nervous just how much the SP has fallen on my own portfolio. Wish I was buying in now.

Morning oldtramp/All. Very interesting read this. Sounds like Drax are trialling the same pellets as SAE and as we know, SAE have a 50% stake with N&P. Although this is unsubstantiated it is likely to be one of the same in which case, this really would be "door opener" for all old coal fired power stations. The cost of decommissioning these sites is monstrous so this could be the answer to maintaining them profitably. Thanks for sharing it with us oldtramp.

Cheers oldtramp. To be frank I dont know. Not sure the updates will be RNS worthy so I guess they'll be website based. Not sure I'll be on their Xmas card list though as I suspect I'm more of a pain!

Following on from my post earlier I have another quick update to share with you: While SAE have acknowledged their Planning & Consulting team are working well with NRW, they have acknowledged the need to keep investors a little more informed and to this end, they are working on a way to rectify this as we speak. Going forward I am reliably advised that we can expect more frequent updates explaining the Consenting Permitting process to date including the requirements yet to be achieved. This way, we will be more reliably informed. There is nothing better in our world to have the facts to hand as per the horse's mouth so to speak. Naturally, this will help negate any future (undeserved) de-ramps. Also brings about a positive from an article posted yesterday totally without foundation.

oldtramp/BDD/ALL, there was a derogatory article prompting me to reach out to my contact at SAE yesterday hence my previous update earlier. The article suggested SAE have not kept investors entirely up to speed with what's going on via an RNS update but the article is without foundation and has been refuted. SAE have advised that they are cracking on and if there is anything meaningful to report they will inform everyone via an RNS which is a legal requirement. The conversation (via text) was as positive as it can be. I have 300k of shares so not insignificant. I feel this is a tremendous organisation that will ultimately do good by its investors. Not many companies CEO's are really that interested in its retail investors but I genuinely believe Tim Cornelius is. As I said yesterday, an investment such as SAE is much a gamble as anything else is but the risk versus reward makes me believe this is one worth making. The SP will undoubtedly soar on any positive RNS. The SP has really suffered particularly this week as many company shares have. Quite a number of red sells to endure that has placed pressure on ours. If it falls any further you wouldn't be surprised to see an approach by someone such as BP. (I've mentioned this previously albeit no foundation just my opinion) Keeping the faith.

Morning chaps, just want to share with you an update some might deem important following a positive conversation with Sean Parsons at SAE yesterday. As we speak there is much dialogue going on with NRW. Not much change there then but as Sean puts it, they are "cracking on" with matters and reiterates as far as timings go they are absolutely on schedule for "final investment decision next year". As far as Uskmouth is concerned I guess it might go a tad quiet for a while save for updated posts on the NRW application website which we can expect from time to time so worth keeping a watchful eye on this. In fact this might become a little more frequent as we draw ever closer to yr end with both parties targeting an EP decision by then. For now though and for us investors, it's probably going to be a question of playing the waiting game as if we haven't done enough of that already!

I sort of go along with that 13thmonkey but Uskmouth is the ultimate game changer as the site is wholly owned by SAE so they will be owner operators if you like. Elsewhere and it can only be done on a consultancy type basis I would have thought apart from supplying the fuel pellets of course which, I hasten to add, will be a lucrative business in it's own right. Uskmouth though would act as the catalyst for other defunct coal powered sites the world over. Profits of which can be utilised to drive the innovation & implementation of a number of tidal projects. A real global gamechanger for the company that is likely to superinflate the SP much quicker and that's why it's so important to us.

Silentalker, I too read the NRW response and whilst there is no doubt that NRW want to classify the application as a new plant (and why wouldn't they) as this brings into play a number of additional environmental impact legislatives I don't believe SAE have fudged any previous numbers. NRW pay reference to the detail SAE previously included and simply require the same level of detail. I think, certainly a new plant will bring about further challenges in terms of the markers they need to hit but I for one believe SAE & it's partners are up to the job. Since the application was initially presented, they have advanced the technology. The Mitsubishi burners for example are far more efficient than previously presented. So strides are being made. What I think, (For what it's worth) is that NRW want to be in the strongest possible position to answer any potential criticism from any green activists or indeed allay any fears any local people or businesses might have once the EP has been granted during the accompanying consultation process. What better way to do this than to be able to explain the site meets all current markers environmently & otherwise. I might well be ignorant of the matter at hand and I always believe in taking a cautious approach like you but I feel sure SAE will look into meeting those requirements and with haste. They appear to be going about it the right way by employing the right consultants/organisations to help them. This ought to provide us with an element of reassurance I guess. For the record, knowing all this, I still went ahead and purchased an additional 50k of shares yesterday despite my own cautious nature!

G-Man11, oldtramp is right. I suspect, judging by previous responses, the Air Quality Habitats Impact response will be forwarded within the next couple of weeks. There will almost certainly be some additional throw backs in terms of the fire safety responses but this is to be expected but nevertheless, NRW have committed to a judgement by the end of Q4 this year provided they receive all the responses they require & in good time of course. The sooner this matter be concluded the better for all concerned. It should be noted, however, that this is a very large & complex matter, indeed, unique and it feels like both parties are learning as they go along hence the time it is taking. Absolutely nothing to be unduly worried about as I am reliably informed that matters are very much going according to plan. In terms of the application itself, SAE must attain a number of milestones before they are able to reach financial close. Arguably, the most important and most difficult of which is the Environmental permit. (EP) Should this be forthcoming at the end of Dec (and we trust it will) we then submit a detailed planning application for such matters as the fuel pellet storage facilities. (Silos) As the site is deemed "brownfield" this element should be more of a formality. This is scheduled for Qtr 1 2021. To get to this point though and as mentioned, we must obtain the EP. This would be fantastic news for the company/ key stakeholders not to mention any investors such as ourselves. On any positive RNS here one would expect the SP to shoot up then investors have a decision to make. I guess this is the gamble each & everyone of us/whom considering an investment in SAE makes. That's why research is key. No better forum than this for that! Sorry to go on but aware other potential investors may read our share chat and just wanted to map out were we are in terms of were we are right now with Uskmouth notwithstanding tidal. An altogether different matter!

I'm a newbie to Boohoo but so pleased to be part of this company despite currently losing money. Yes, this business has suffered it's fair share of bad press, some, self inflicted but more often than not due to the national press thirst for sensationalism. It has issues, naturally, what company doesn't? For one, it needs to work tirelessly to improve its image particularly from a governance point-of-view but scrape the suface and you have a tremendous business. Innovative & inspirational. A business who knows what direction to take. I for one, happy to be a follower here.

oldtramp, completely agree. We've previously discussed this very same topic or dare I say, opportunity. This is what TC has been campaigning about for quite some time. Naturally, tidal energy isn't as well developed as wind and hence the differential in cost but once more money pours in then this could well change. I paid reference to this fact only last week urging Boris to look into tidal by way of this forum in fact. (looks like he listened ha ha) As you rightly say oldtramp, TC has gone on record as saying SAE are in the best possible position to take full commercial advantage. And, as world leaders, they are! In truth, this is just as important update as anything connected with SAE right now and thanks for sharing it with the family. In my humble view, this can only really be eclipsed by way of a positive outcome to the EP in relation to the Uskmouth Project. Yes, in terms of the SP it may well be a white knuckle ride right now but I think we all see the direction of SAE as an organisation and we all understand its direction. Very happy to be a follower here even though my nerves are shattered!

So far today, 146.3k more red sells shares than blue buys representing a £31k blue buy deficit. With the current SP at such blindingly good value it will be interesting to see were the money goes by COP today. Neither mine nor OHS's 50k spend currently showing for some reason? Keeping the faith.

oldtramp, I cannot fathom the drop either other than the whole market seems to be trading well down. Has been since Monday mostly due to Covid-19 fears. There's also an ugly election process going on in the US which is often an unsettling time for the markets and then there's the question of Brexit. I wonder if all of this is affecting SAE in ways that we would not otherwise feel or believe possible? I thought there would have been a bounce back today. How wrong was I?

That's 2 lots of 50k going through OHS as I've just topped up myself. Now holding 300k. I must be mad!
