RE: CFDs24 Nov 2020 12:59
Interesting question Jack 03 and one my wife asks frequently. During August it went to £0.30p but at it's highest, the SP climbed to £0.33p. Brokers have estimated £0.77p based on successful outcome of SUP alone. I believe this to be wholly reasonable as SUP would deliver significant profits by way of energy generation and subcoal which can, in part, be invested in tidal if required and thus helping to drive down per watt costs whilst, at the same time, investing in efficiency. I think on reaching the EP milestone and based on previous SP highs, I can see an SP of around £0.30p on any positive RNS on hopefully by year end or at latest Jan 2021. Following period of consultation, 9 weeks from NRW decision I would expect SP to reach new 52 week highs of £0.35p+ then increase accordingly with each subsequent milestone reached until financial close. During the meantime (and the reason why I personally invested) any positive news on Tidal should see a surge in SP. Both SUP and Tidal CFD wins will undoubtedly be transformational in both sectors. In terms of longer term SP values, your guess is as good as mine! As always, respect alternative views. Meanwhile, I will continue to tell my wife we're making no money & I'm in it for at least 10yrs so ask me again then!
