What do the public & investors think of AZN? From a PR point-of-view it's been nothing short of a disaster. Conflicting news. One saying the half dosing was a mistake while another stating nothing of the sort. It was deliberate. The SP & company value plummeting into the sea of nowhere faster than the artic shelf. In the end though, the vaccine is likely to be the one truly workable global winner and in the end, staying alive & well is what really matters. The fact that I, for one, will have to live that life a little poorer is one that I have bought upon myself for investing in what is, the worst investment I have made or ever likely to make in my life. Unless that is, I decide to buy some more AZN shares!

Hi mate, not looking at the share price per se. These are accurate. I'm referring to the SAE Share Price tag on LSE that shows the number of transactions and values. It's the values that are incorrect. The chart doesn't seem to be collecting the buy data after the 1st 16 of transactions today. For example, there was a 50k buy worth around £12k that doesn't appear to have been captured? NB: Currently shows circa £4k of buys which is clearly wrong.

HI all, just a quick note & FYI, LSE doesn't appear to be capturing any blue buy data since the first 16 trades of this morning. Therefore, the blue buys versus the red sells data is wholly inaccurate. At the time of writing, there have been 27 trades with a number of them being buys. In fact, so far today, buys have outdone the sells. Having said that any data misdemeanour shouldn't have any material impact on the SP either positive or negative.

Yet another good read oldtramp! This just about sums up were we are with SAE in a succinctly interesting way. Once again many thanks for sharing it with us.

Yep, quite agree, absolutely top notch summary from OHS (again) of were we currently are with the EP situation including the article 51 option in case all else fails. I'm sure SAE will give this consideration in due course particular if article 50 proves too much a challenge but I suspect they will continue with it for now and all that brings in terms of it's plethora of regulations. However, I'm led to believe that there isn't anything insurmountable here though. In the meantime, I can confirm SAE are looking to introduce a system or mechanic to help relay the facts & other worthwhile news to investors early in the new year. This will help avoid unnecessary speculation or indeed, false news. Finally, not the best day today from an SP point-of-view but hopefully the low entry point SP will help encourage new investors and we'll see a bounce-back tomorrow. Night night all.

Just to quickly reiterate, spoke with SAE on the 19th Nov (so less than 2 weeks ago) and was advised dialogue between the 2 parties had been going well. Due to the highly complex nature of the project there are bound to be issues/challenges some of which, naturally, are likely to be time consuming resulting in delays to the Consultation Permitting process. This is only to be expected. We need to remain as patient as we can & await our day to come.

On the 21st Feb, 2004 SAE's share price was and wait for it... a massive £0.9550p. That's just short of a £1! Today's SP: just £0.2665p as I speak. The company with its rich pipeline of opportunity arguably, is much stronger today then it was back then. Is this then, the most seriously undervalued company in the FTSE? If it really was worth just short of a pound back in 2004 then what's it's real value today?

Hi Safy, funnily enough Jack03 asked basically the same question on Tuesday. If you go into my post and scroll to Tuesday, it should give you a steer as to were I think the SP will go in the short, medium & longer term. (In my own or broker opinion) I firmly believe that SAE is an investment winner and therefore a strong buy due to what's in the pipeline in terms of both subsea & landside projects. Hope this helps.

From a world health point-of-view, AZN is nothing short of a hero but from an investors point-of-view becoming nothing short of a shot in the foot! The leadership team at AZN must be as bemused as many of us investors sitting on a thumping loss!

Absolutely agree (once again) with you OHS. I've long suspected SAE shares, as much as any are subject to the day trippers... a term I use for those people whose only goal is to buy low one day and sell high the next to make a few quid.. as is their prerogative of course. I guess there could be some potential overhang from the Primary Bid maybe? Always interested in any different views to my own though. What I do think we need are more investors like ourselves who care enough about the environment (and all that brings) & be willing to invest in SAE for at least the medium term if not longer albeit I firmly believe there are significant shorter term SP gains on the horizon. By that I mean SUP & the forthcoming NRW decision. Until then, the likes of you & I will no doubt persevere & continue to ride the vagaries of this stockmarket company we hold so dear! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for a better SP day tomorrow & Friday.

If you are minded, you can open the link & scroll down to find & open a secondary link: "New Proposals for Supply Chain Plan you will find the CFD now includes Coal to Biomass conversions. This is an incredibly interesting not to mention exciting update. If there's one such project for CFD consideration you would be forgiven for thinking in terms of our very own SUP? If nothing else, it shows government support for the technology and that has got to be a good thing. I'm going to try to talk directly with SAE about it but pretty sure they will be fully aware & primed! For those that are minded, hope you find it as interesting as I did. Finally, in respect of SUP, it feels like we are flying with a tailwind behind us. Fingers crossed for a positive outcome.

Completely agree GeordieShores. The thing to remember is that it isn't a competition although judging by the media you could be forgiven for thinking that it was. The SP is being suppressed by evil dark forces. Both yesterday & again today, buy transactions have significantly outweighed the sells. I'm expecting a bounce sometime soon.

Great post again oldtramp. The Northwest is my part of the world. I spent much of my summer youth in the coastal resort of Fleetwood. It has a natural channel for the fishing fleets and extends from Fleetwood to Knott End where I think SAE plan to situate their subsea turnbines. I've known about this opportunity for some time and can only hope it comes off paving the way for similiar projects around our island. The sheer breadth of opportunity for tidal is mind blowing... and that's just the UK. Fantastic stuff! Good SP day today.
