I don't think it has anything to do with the site survey. Oil and gas prices have had a bit of a pause the last 24 , but are already bouncing back. Yesterday's Shell OGA knock back seems a perfectly timed coincidence to make the government look anti oil and gas on the main day of Tory party conference. 'Look over here! Look over here!' I suspect it will be full throttle on gas when nobody is looking. The damage caused by the surge in UK gas prices and lack of supplies will certainly put them under great pressure to do so and DELT is in a great spot to help.
It's also worth noting that DELT is below the level it reach in Feb when drilling was 15 months away. Since then Cairn has farmed in to 5 licences with work including seismic already underway at no cost to DELT, drilling is much closer and the gas price has rocketed more than five times higher yet DELT is flat. Looks far too cheap at the current price. Drilling fully funded. GLA
