I run a 1,000 rig private pool and I buy one Method B license. Method B tells me to start mining at 123. Each of my miners is initialised to start at increments of 10^x from 123. That's 999 license fees saved !!!

Thought for the day - gosh sounding like OSD.

So we all buy method B and join a nice cosy mining pool. A new block comes in and Method B tells us to start mining at NONCE = 123. But everyone with Method B starts mining from 123. In dacg everyone in the world starts mining at the same from 123. I need to up my clock speed or buy a faster ASIC.!!!!!

Of course I've ignored the fact the pool coordinator wants me to start at 321 but MB tells me to start at 123

Perhaps admin are in a position to know that what you are claiming is false and misleading, based upon your unfounded and utterly baseless desperation.

But QBT isn't intending to become a Bitcoin miner, perhaps it doesn't have the capability. Ask Gardin why he isn't mining Bitcoin with his disruptive technology. I presume he doesn't have faith in the technology to ouput Bitcoins for the company.

As has been said recently, if I believed or anyone believed this is going from pence to pounds why on earth would we be haggling over fractions of a penny??

The cheapest it can be is a fraction over 0p. If it was going to pounds I'd happily buy at 20 p. Instead of gambling my potential fortune to try and get it sub 0.7p.

It's worth reflecting on Gardins business career. He has been involved in over 50 companies. The companies he's founded are very varied and have mostly failed. His one winner appears to be his first, he's been trying to repeat that ever since. If anyone knows of any successes, apart from the first, please speak up.

I don't understand why Gardin persists with Method A, it is far inferior to Method B. Both are claimed to reduce the search space but somehow using different techniques. Obviously from what little has been given, B improves hashing by 160% compared to A at about 10%. What possible benefit could using A give you.?

Any sensible thoughts ?
