Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Catboy, that isn't what the tweet actually said. It said " only weeks away" not " a couple of weeks away."

With #Perseverance1 now just weeks away from a result,
Read the RNS's, thats what they are for.
Due to sail on 26th ( Thursday)
Due on slocation on or before 15th Dec,
Due to spud after approx 4 days setting up.
I agree in general with Ramman and Razorman.
Do I believe in the CERP BOD, not really any more. I DID, I was in it for the full 5 years and more and even though, like many other on here, I never believed that I would get back all my losses from the old LGO days, I trusted LK and co to at least perform on their own promises, since when he has defaulted time and time again missing promise after promise.
Why am I still 'invested'? Because I am so far down that it makes very little difference in % terms, but I see no reason why the BOD should come out of this as the only winners and we are left exchanging one forlorn hope for a different one. LK supporting this thinly disguised takeover is the best reason I can think of for not going along with it.
If on the day before the takeover (oops, sorry, merger) you hold 1000 CERP shares at an av price of 2p, their value is obviously 2000p. ( £20)
The day after, you will receive 0.803 x 1000 BPC shares = 803shares.
If the BPC share price drops to, say, 2p then your original CERP £20 shareholding will suddenly now be worth 2 x 803 = 1606p ( £16.06 )
Good deal!
PTMS, that makes a deal of sense. As soon as I heard last week that Potter is due to retire next Easter, bells started ringing that classically a NED is brought in some months before and then gets a departing CEO's job. I hadn't taken it quite as far as you are suggesting, but it does join a number of dots.
The nonsense about BPC developing Cerp assets when their own drill finances seem to be borderline, simply doesn't stack up for me.
Presentation won't download on a Windows desktop either. Think the RNS beat them to it in the office, probably have to wait till after 9am!
Schlumber definitions:
horizon
1. n. [Geology]
An informal term used to denote a surface in or of rock, or a distinctive layer of rock that might be represented by a reflection in seismic data. The term is often used incorrectly to describe a zone from which hydrocarbons are produced.
2. n. [Geophysics]
An interface that might be represented by a seismic reflection, such as the contact between two bodies of rock having different seismic velocity, density, porosity, fluid content or all of those.
Experience over the past 3 years has shown that whenever LK gives a timescale, as a rule of thumb you can double it to get the real figure, so for 2 weeks read 4.
Willec, you've been here a couple of months and post several times a day asking questions that nobody can answer. Just give it a rest please. Quite a few of us have been here 4, 5, 6 or more years and are a long way under water. Just be patient but if you are seriously worried then simply cut your losses now.
Daz,
Possibly, although the 'download' button doesn't provide a usable URL either, so that could be it as well.
I've found the Saffron drill site on Sentinel-hub link but it's too indistinct to really make anything out. The image is dated 25/12.2019, so its a week old now.
Alexia, the 29th Oct RNS said drilling would start in "the next few days". 'Few' normally means more than 2, so on that basis drilling won't have started before 1st Nov, or even later. It then said "approximately 30 -45 days", so on that basis also, the end date is unlikely to be tomorrow, and sometime next week or even the week after, is entirely in keeping with that RNS..
Although I agree with 18th as the 45th day, everybody seems to be ignoring the fact that the RNS said "APPROXIMATELY 30-45 days" so the 45 days is by no means definite.
RNS 29th Oct - drilling "in a few days", so say 3rd Nov actual start.
30-45 days to drill and eval, so 3rd Nov +30 = 3rd Dec
+15 days (to take us to the 45) = 18th Dec
+ a few days slippage ( because there always is ) = CHRISTMAS EVE!!!!
Devonshire, there are quite a lot of us here still in more or less the same boat, unfortunately.
A supposedly expert organisation which starts it's opinion piece with the statement, "Columbus Energy Resources plc engages in the exploration, development, and production of oil and gas in Trinidad and Tobago, Spain, Cyprus, St Lucia, the United States, and the United Kingdom" , has little or no credence IMO. It is many many years since even LGO had any involvement in most of those locations.
Siliv,
If you bookmark the CERP Chat page and don't log out at the end of a visit, next time you open the bookmark it will simply take you straight to the chat page with all the filters intact and working.
Totally agree that people should ignore him and others like him. I've got half a dozen names filtered who constantly reply to him and it makes for a sea of green, but whats left is normally sensible!
Sundayroast, watch the video, the how, why, when and how much ( and much more) is all in there.

My guess is that the suddenly lower cost for the first well may be an indication that it will be the sidetracked FRM-1, so ( presumably) much of the above ground stuff is already there and/or can be refurbished, and the top part of the well bore doesn't have to be drilled until they get to where it sidetracks.
That's all well and good, but it doesn't alter the fact that so many promises about both production levels and timing have been broken in the last 2 years and there is currently no sign of that ending. IMO he should be concentrating on Trinidad, not pratting about in S. America until Trinidad is running smoothly and actually generating the cash to fund S.A.
Thanks Peter. I saw the Georgetown flights, but there are countless Georgetowns around the world and I missed the Guyana link!
Yes I'd agree that seems a distinct possibilty.
