I mean I almost want to vomit such is through nothingness of this as a policy, it fundamentally just expands the tax haven rabbit hole we are rushing to get down. But hey look boats with our flag on, we are an empire again!
Sorry for the off topic, but I wanted to rant, has anyone of the loonatic investment market actually read the Didi prospectus I wonder? Do they understand that the company makes numerous references to being manifestly underinsured? They have a specific section in the prospectus that makes this abundantly clear. Just mental...
My gut feel, Bojo has promised JW to make this happen, Bojo has lost support in NI over handling of Brexit, NI are not cowing to BJs demands and JW is sat pants down waiting.
I am not entirely certain gents, maybe overdone, but if I am not mistaken they suggest that all the cash thry have is now allocated to PnA, hence they will have to issue shares to fund other works.
LOL that was a joke folks, clearly aimed at creating a rush of blood for all the anxious for news folks.
In less than 15 days I reckon. ????
FFS stop talking ****.
You are invested in an AIM infrastructure business, they have acquired for minimal money shipyards with tangible futures, and brought themselves to cash breakeven within a year of operation and secured interest in build contracts. Don't be so god damn naive to think anyone could do any better, or to that point that you know how better to run the business.
Equity issues are necessary vehicle to funding early stage development, if you don'tike it stop investing in AIM stocks.
Some people do talk such ****.
I do love the numbty deramp crowd who willfully blind to wider market movements declare defeat of their professed investment to the rest of us, for our benefit of course.

Says it all really.
There is nothing contradictory in it, I believe this share will make real gains, I believe oil cannot simply be turned off, but I am also aware from personal experience that the commodities sector is undergoing a seismic shift and since this thread was talking to Biden's policy and agenda I can speak to the sense in that too. Point of fact, constraints on supply which are not matched by constraints on demand tend to drive value its pretty basic economics. Regards.
I have worked in commodities for 15 years, and I have never seen anything like the dash by so many oil traders and the supporting companies heading for the exit, from banks to insurers to individuals whose entire career is oil.
The movement is real.
I 100% agree with the idea that we can't simply turn off the taps, but I think the market is going to be fundamentally different in the coming 5 to 10 years and onwards.
Literally a hundred posts about the drilling, links to the petition etc, at the most the posts have 4 likes or shares, most have none. FSQC is a one man echo chamber.
As with the UK referndums need not be determinative, indeed I think in the Bahamas they cannot be.
Guys as redundant as I believe his case to be, I would not get excited about the timing he stated. If anything I would expect him to wait yet longer, indeed as late as the 15th, so as to put the judge under an extreme pressure to make a decision on the merits of his arguments of imminent threat.
This entire process is merely about weaponising the judiciary and by his record he is well practiced at it. Of course he has never encountered such a large case and I would venture his goal is to polish his profile as an activist lawyer rather than succeed in his case.
The key thing is that if there is any merit to the argument demanding judicial review, at what time should said review have been sought. The amendment to the listed rigs was confirmed in May, from my understanding therefore he is time barred from his action.
I.e. the injunction is without merit as there is no grounds for calling for a judicial review.
But I would not get excited by either the act of submitting papers or the absence of papers. He will chose his timing to be as vexatious as possible.

The oillie boards will always have their share of people or teams trying to run down a share, whether for short term gains or environmental activism.
The only value they bring is the joy of an occassional intellectual dialogue, but it soons loses its interest, as with all cultish types they are not interested in hearing anything but their truth.
I for one will invest everything I have in the first company to develop a fusion reactor, but we are at least 50 years from that tech coming along and until then nothing will supplant the fossil fuel. Literally nothing can.
In the interim it is not about replacing the fuel it is about capturing or processing the by products. There is no magic bullet.
Actually I correct myself there is, we all stop doing everything we do, we stop buying, we stop travelling, we stop consuming.
Of course this would only remove the need for probably 80% of fossil fuels, as we still need to eat thst one is not optional, and various other things cannot be completely removed at this point. But the bad news for Bahamas is that means no tourists, so their problems become real at that point.
Environmentalists always shout pretty loudly, but their hypocrisy doesn't hold much water. I have yet to meet any one in all my travels and movements who has kived a life entirely without fossil fuel inputs.
Also worth keeping in mind that heat and electricity account for the largest share of CO2 emissions, followed by agriculture, and then industry. So really what environmentalists want is us all to live in a cold, meatless productless world.
I prefer we just stop people having children, 1 child per family, that is a solution to global warming that would work.
Fred QC as recently as August of this year was criticised by the sitting AG as having brought a case on "nebulous" grounds. I do not see this as any different and frankly it all has echoes of Rudy Guilliani, whacked out on something or other.
And that folks is how you respond to this tripe properly, fact based, laying out the framework of any legal review of the facts for the judge to consider when looking st the substance of the injunction request. Props to potter.
Company can in theory monitor and control communications from the rig, and restrict the flow of information. In theory.
Not 100% sure it is chap
