Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Rises because buyers are willing to pay more than market price.Share float is set Board of Directors. And remains set unless
other wise determined by BOD.Apparently JAd and OKAY don't understand how markets work. They are not alone.
has got it wrong.Matad has now an A-I-P which means there are some technical matters to be resolved. He must be a friend of
Manro and his crowd.MB and his team are not a "lot." They are experienced oil operators who know what they are about.
And I been invested at least as long as he has.Obviously he missed to change in management a few year back.
apologies for the print stammer.
FROM A PR perspective and assuming complete honesty which I do, a good lead into the events of the coming week would be
a pre-opening announcement by the officials the the EL has been granted.
I do t not talk about my investment brilliancy with anyone.
You just made a bad bet.We all do.I bought a bunch of Matad some yrs.ago at 57p.Howver over the ensuing yrs. I averaged down to 4p so I am I in better position to recover and make a profit. If the stock collapses I will lose all.C'est la vie.
Please excuse. They do not cloud the issues.Mea culpa, mea culpa.
I got my stats from E-M home page and did a simple comparison of E-M to Matad. A similiar exercise with Chevron revealed
similar valuation. I have no idea how realistic/accurate they are.Do they have comparative value?I don't know.Perhaps s.o.
out there has more accurate info which would shed more light on the issue pending how the finally market reacts to
EL issuance.A farm-in partner would certainly be most interested in 'reserves' and not 'resources .' Remember the latter
are only crude estimates indicating the possible presence of hydrocarbons arising from initial seismic testing. Reserves
are calculated using much more advanced (and expensive seismic) as I understand the process and consequently used in
moving from resources to reserves at a probability range from P90 down the scale to P10 as I understand the process.
I should have said 1b of oil is worth 7x as much to share price not to company value.
All the balderdash aside, the share price after the RNS will be a function of the CPR establishing reserves (at P9O I think),
the oil price at the time of issuance and the float plus exploration costs per barrel. E-M for example has some 20 bb of oil or oil equivalent classified as 'reserves,'and a float of some 4.2 m shares giving it a share price of circa.$35-40. at current prices/costs.
Matad valuation will be predicated on the interaction of these variables at the time of issuance as perceived by prospective
investors. Note that MATAD has a float of circa.700 m shares, so 1 b.is worth 7x as much to the bottom line as 6 is for E-M. DYOR.
Do not confuse resources with reserves.Only number that matters is the reserves as certified by a CPR.
It was not my intent to ruffle your feathers.I was simply trying to understand how you concluded that a voluntary
transaction,ie willing buyer -willing seller engaging in the exchange of legal commodities is verboten in your world.
It certainly is not in the real world (at least not yet.) It certainly got your back up so I must have struck
a chord. The fact that Manro supports you can only indicate how misinformed you both are.
Curious. How would this be illegal? Are not buyers and sellers entitled to buy and sell at any agreed to price by parties to the
transaction?
over estimates his importance. This is one "insect" who could care less about his fortunes. He has made money on Matad
so he says. Well done to him if true but it is of no moment to me.
Where did your reserve number come from? I don't recall a CPR to that effect. There are resources and reserves. However I do hope you are correct.
Thank you for your response. What is ADR? A lot of these acronyms and abbreviations are beyond my pay grade. However your post was informative and I take it we should not be affected by events in the USA.Again I thank you for your insight.
What is ggs? I understood that there was a US sell off yesterday. Markets were down due to rumours of increase of capital gains tax. Is this US sell off a contributing factor in Matad decline?
Rumors in the US that Biden might raise the capital gains tax may have caused a sell off and exit from the market in the US.
Was this a contributing factor in share drop of yesterday? Will this effect share price even more? What % of shares are held
by US investors and is that % sufficient to be a drag on share price.Ultimately the stock price will depend on size of reserves as
determined by CPR,oil price, float, recevery costs etc. Any thoughts by posters welcome.
The 2011 stock price was based on pure speculation since the company had no assets,ie reserves as determined by a CPR.
It is important to note that there is a great difference between resources vs reserves. The latter are certified as having economic
value and in concert with the float and oil price are determinant of share value (Inter alia). 2011 price was pure speculation
based on nothing but sentiment.Whether Matad reaches 57p or any other number will finally be determined by how big the reserve number will be in combination with the aforementioned other factors. I agree 57p would be a nice start.
is not aware or chooses the ignore the facts.Petrovis has extended a line of credit sufficient to permit Matad to operate.Share dilution is unnecessary.Matad is an asset rich but cash poor company and the Petrovis offer has ensured sufficient cash
flow to ensure operations. Also it is highly possible that the EL will be issued before the O&G Exhibition in mid-May. It would be a great way to showcase Mongolia as open for business. Finally there are no outstanding environmental issues.
