Good point on volume as it looks like this will be half or less today than what has been going on in recent times. The day's not over yet though I suppose. I can't pretend to know a lot about chart trends but I'm hoping that we may be heading for a hockey stick uptick and that we're in the 'blade' progressing towards the beginning of the 'inflection' period at present. Don't know over what time period such things generally develop though.
Not too sure about UK proposed new energy policy giving a significant uplift but hope you're right. For ref see:

For every large seller there has to be a large buyer. The large buys corresponding to the large sells are not currently showing on today's trades so am anticipating the large buys showing up after the close, just in time for news tomorrow ... which is good, hopefully.
@Rushfan
Well said. You are the priest of the Temples of Syrinx :)
I remember GB saying somewhere that he goes to bed at 2 and gets up at 6 so if he can care for duties of stand in CEO at MSYS with his eyes closed then perhaps he can manage that. My guess is that he can't and DVRG will suffer accordingly. In my limited knowledge of charts (if you follow such things), DVRG appears to be at the junction of a descending triangle and is struggling to break out of 21p - 22p range accordingly. It's going to take big news for DVRG to shift upwards in my view. A merger with/takeover of MSYS will have the opposite effect in my view, especially given that the chart movement suggests only down from here (without news).
FWIW, interesting/alarming article in the Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/environment/2022/jan/10/ignore-low-impact-pollution-events-environment-agency-staff
Of note is the following:
“Exceptions to the rule will be pollution incidents caused by a regulated site or a water company, says the briefing, although it does not explain how it will determine the source or seriousness of an incident if it is not attended or investigated.”
Also: “A second officer, who also wished to remain anonymous, said it would be “impossible” to ascertain what level of incident had taken place without visiting it.”
Clearly, there is a need for MW tech here but if the EA is so cash-strapped/unconcerned by “an example of a category 3 could be a “2km spill of oil or sewage in a river”” what is the likelihood of it happening? You couldn’t make this up.
RB40. Having lost interest in DVRG in recent weeks (and reduced my holding accordingly) just curious why your bet is that Labskin is underperforming? Is there anything coming out of the event this week that DVRG have part-sponsored? Seems likely to me there are huge outgoings for all these sponsored events and unless they translate to sales then there will likely, in my view, be another fund raise early in 2022 (can’t happen in 2021 as that would break a promise). There’s no doubt in my mind that much of the tech that DVRG has is much needed but conversion of that to £££ seems to be very difficult for the current management team. Pandemic notwithstanding, the ‘these things take time’ arguments, together with NDA constraints, and CR delays are all wearing a bit thin for me.
All things being equal, a suggested 1.1% dilution of the shares from Friday's RNS would have seen the Friday opening price of 26.55p reduce to 26.25p. The 24.10p share price at close today is 9.23% lower than Friday's open. There must therefore be other factors at play. Someone mentioned a 'golden cross' recently; it's beginning to look more like The Golden Shot.
Indeed. Quote from chair of the Environment Agency in The Guardian:
“Only now, just before new monitors are installed, have companies reported concerns over potential problems.” Hopefully, the “new monitors are [being] installed” by DVRG. Crazy to think that a £90m fine covers 1,800 PD units at £50K each. Maybe the economics are starting to hit home. Full Guardian article

Gidget
And copying my post from last month is relevant to this discussion because …? Live and learn what exactly in relevance to this discussion? Never mind. My guess is it’s a puerile comment.
It would appear from that last exchange that Paulcon2021 has successfully called out those accusing him of subterfuge.
Maybe that should be a detection stool :-)
Chesh - your comment: 'Coal burnt power stations..... We can monitor their effluent.......!' Seriously? Ever read that Cree Indian proverb, which says in part: 'only when man has poisoned the last river ... will he realise he can't eat money' (maybe a few more dots would make it more legible for you :-) ). My point was how serious a commitment there is to environmental matters (such as dealing with river pollution) when the coal-fired power stations are being fired up/increasing their output.
TRat - thanks for the information from June 2020 - the world has changed somewhat since then don't you think?

Smeeno - were you ever in Avacta, Velocys, EqTec? Lots of promise but either the world isn't interested enough or the management don't have the capacity to deliver. My view is that GB's gung-ho approach has done reputational damage to the company. Personally, I hope that he is not part of the negotiating team for any CR deal as his electronic footprint is an embarrassment and a hindrance to the company being taken seriously
Think he was watching the football when they were discussing sales acumen at the University of Entrepreneurs.
My concern is not in the tech. I'm not making political assertions one way or the other either although a change in the political situation could, in my view, have negative consequences for DV. I wholeheartedly agree that the water monitoring is needed. My underlying concern relates to reliance on a CR deal that seems to be continuously out of reach and the apparent inability of the current DV team to make any meaningful progress in converting good intentions into cash. Cash burn in DV must be phenomenal. Without cash sales there is an inevitable need to raise funds by means of yet another capital raise. If that happens in early 2022 then further dilution to shareholdings and the negative message that will send to markets will see the SP go lower than now (given that any positive news that we're already aware of is factored into the current SP).
Maybe I'm a lone wolf here but I'm wondering why when discussing a possible deal with CR, no one mentions the geopolitical situation in China and its potential hostilities with the West. Can't see much going on a business front between Western companies and Chinese companies if the respective governments are thrashing it out over Taiwan. Not to mention increasing output from coal-fired power plants; does that suggest a serious environmental commitment? IMO, the chap from CR on the Reuters Impact video was bordering on giving a 'glorious motherland' speech (when he managed to get a word in over Ajay). A relative minnow such as DV doesn't stand a chance if sanctions come into play.
I'm of the camp that has little confidence in GB to get anything over the line. Lots of blarney but no delivery. Mind you, if I was getting my shares at 0.5p and was sitting on a potential 4000+% profit even with the SP where it is now, would I be worried that the SP is woeful? Probably not.
All the news regarding the mismanagement of rivers etc counts for nothing commercially. If DV really does have world-beating technology then it needs to price point its product such that people take it on and as its efficacy becomes more widely known, sales will increase accordingly.
Time for a new CEO in my view.
If SP is such a bargain, surprised we haven't had a RNS to say Mrs B has bought back in at this price. She sold when SP was in the 30s.
If you're stuck for someone to keep the conversation going at a dinner party, invite Ajay!
