The presidents clip says - advances in the Cascabel and Cangeros mining projects. At the bottom it says Cascabel investment of 12 billion USD and 3700 employees.

They arent bothered what solgold is bought for. What they care about is how much is invested in the mine itself over its life as thats what impacts on the people of Ecuador. The 12 billion is simply the capital cost added to the operating cost as detailed in the PFS.

Capital cost is 4.2 billion Operating cost is 8.2 billion. So technically its a bit more.

Im sharing an article that the bot shared. The tax is something like 40 million for Solgold so is not minimal. We have not received financing commitments of a billion. The Franco financing is fully dependent on conditions precedent and there is no guarantee we will receive it all. The good thing about the meeting tomorrow is it seemed that the government had closed the door to negotiation. Now it seems its back open - this is good news.
