Rodney i dont doubt that the company could get to a quid a share. But that's not happening in the next weeks or months. Unless TAM blows everything out of the water.

Oh and to add the PFS was based on using a TSF off site. That proved to not be viable (I am to an extent aware of the reasons for this). The company is now reverting to the two onsite locations. Both of which (as per the PFS) require TAM to be viable to be workable. If TAM isnt viable they have to import fill which will be so incredibly expensive it will be back to the drawing board. To be fair all of this surely makes the viability of TAM more likely.

Oh and before stas says ive spent ages researching this post today.... ive read the PFS 6 Times I would happily bet i know it better than anyone outside the company and 99% of the people in it.

The reason TAM is potentially value destructive is absolutely nothing to do with cash flow. If TAM isnt viable we dont have a TSF so its going to set back everything for months.

Rodney there are a few things wrong in your post. Canjeros was closer to production than Cascabel (barring TAM). It was closer to FS than Cascabel (though they do seem to have binned it - which i would expect most buyers of cascabel to do).

Tandy is either going to be hugely valued destructive or additive (im hoping for the latter) accordingly we cant consider it now. Porvenir we are spinning off. No one is buying the company as a whole.

I agree with most of the rest of what you say other than the % of NPV / NAV that cascabel will raise at this point. It will be a disaster selling it now. We need to get the license and pray to God TAM is a goer.

Im sure he was confident he would deliver - but he didnt have any idea that the government would do what they did which changes everything. They cant really announce much about this tax until they know where they stand which will (I assume) be when negotiations are over.

The self imposed deadline was to announce the plan for Explorco before Q2. Subsequently, and out of the blue, the government announced a new tax/ inspection fee which will fundamentally impact on the economics of Explorco. Of course this was going to delay things especially considering that there seems to be ongoing negotiations with the government and the various miners (including ours).

As I showed in my messages from Telegram I raised this a year ago (hopefully someone from said group will verify what ive said). They put the sensitivity analysis in for 2 or 3 months and it made no difference. Also there is a Scott interview from say a year ago (if my memory serves) where he said we have enough value thats not the issue now. It was explaining why he wasn't drilling cascabel more. Im on my phone now so cant access research tree and read Hannam and partners reports. They increased their forward looking gold price but cant recall the figure. Its nothing like 3k though. But again my understanding is the forward looking price needs to take into account inflation. A gold price of 1,750 today when increased on a compound basis of say 2% per year is straight away much higher in 20 years.

Hence you dont use spot prices because the chances are they will collapse for x y z reasons including the possibility that an idiot becomes the chancellor.

The whole purpose of NPV is to value the future today. So inflation of course pays a part.
