So now three legal cases up and running against the mining tax. The chamber of mining doing a press conference at 9am today Ecuador time on the matter. The minister of mining expected to respond to the issue after a meeting she is having at 10am Ecuador time.

Its likely the ministers statement will reflect this .... companies that dont want to pay the fee should give up the concessions and let someone who will pay take them over (apparently there are companies prepared to pay). If the minister is correct in some respects this is beneficial for exploreco as it suggests that there is a market for the concessions we have (or at least some of them).

You didnt mention PI in your post at all You said "and the company has heard nothing from him". The company and the market has heard from him as detailed. Just PIs havent heard much outside of RNS's. So the point of my post was to reply to your post - not the subsequent one where you moved the goal posts.

The Quito one is easy to attend Jack if you can be bothered to go to Quito. I imagine a lot of government will be there. Maybe they might execute the final part of the IPA.

That aside the BofA Securities Global Metals, Mining & Steel Conference 2025 was invite only and major players present. Canaccord 4th Annual Global Metals & Mining Conference also invite only. He also has a number of conferences set up over the next few months, though its not clear if it will be him or others attending.

The company has heard nothing from him.... except for

* A number of RNS's

* Interview with Bloomberg (albeit brief)

* Appearance at an investor conference in Barcelona

* Appearance at an investor conference in Nevada

* Went to China to meet our largest shareholder.

* Met with government ministers in Ecuador - and allegedly the President.

Just seems he is focusing on institutional investors rather than PIs.
