Our latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with QuotedData's Edward Marten has just been released. Listen here.
re no. 4 I think you have a good point there but got the idea that the reason msmn including the word "critical" in the below statement was due to peeps knowing the troubles Georgina have had and making a point that they've not got the same issues?
"Mosman has already received expressions of interest from several parties and critically parties seeking to participate in the proposed raising."
Funny how art wasn't worried about a discount for the indian offtake when he bought back in only now he's sold and they've RNS'd the 2nd HWM is sorted?
"We are now in the position to advance quickly to full production and deliver on our commitment to our shareholders."
Isn't their commitment to shareholders that of delivering a dividend?
Agree very good news for the bulls. Noted that they didn't use Mega Highwalls issues as an excuse to leave it at one hwm so would imagine they're happy enough with their aisc that they can afford to do this.
Should have been a bull.
Doo have to watch meetings "potential customers" imo. CPX had to admit in their placing RNS that their possible pipeline of sales had up to a 6 or 8 year development cycle.
These deals seem to take forever if they come to fruition at all.
Not sure they're "years away from progress" but presuming they form their subsidiary this year and Central go ahead with drilling the field below them as planned think the value of their asset will grow anyway.
Always good to remember this is a microcap we're dealing with not a major imo.

Popped off to hotcopper and reading through a few of Central Petroleum's news releases. Well worth signing up there imo to keep up with news from their neighbours.
Amadeus is quite the play, they're drilling 3 wells late this year just below ours too..

"High Helium potential in Amadeus Basin
? >95% of Helium supply is a by-product of gas or LNG
? >0.3% Helium is considered Helium rich
? Helium concentrations in the Southern Amadeus are an
order of magnitude higher at 6% and 9%."
Would be chuffed to bits at any deal that gets the helium plays moving esp if the co. gets to keep 30% as posted by some below.
Just to say I do't want free shares I want it to be a subsidiary of the co. and benefit from msmn having as large a slice of the helium play as possible bearing in mind those financing the play will want a large wedge too.
Would be very happy with new investors stumping up the 10m Aussie dollars mentioned in posts below for 60% of the new co. if that meant we move forward.
At the moment the helium plays are in limbo, needing cash and so adding absolutely no value to our marketcap would like to see that changed.
Not bad at all, listing a subsidiary to handle our australian assets whilst still a micro cap themselves opening up massive helium plays due to having the financing to move forward.
Well played Barr already ahead of where Georgina has got financewise.
"Mosman has already received expressions of interest from several parties and critically parties seeking to participate in the proposed raising."
Looking forward to updates as they come and Q4 for listing.
You mean the shareknockers in the one office reg? Probably right.
My take is GE are still in the picture. Nothing to say they're not and sure GE will very quickly announce if they've been pushed out. So if wrong won't matter for long.
The new co. they want to float is to get some value accredited to the helium play as their view is that there's nothing in the price for it at all today. They appear to have investors willing to put money into the helium play via investing in said new subsidiary and the chinese are willing to negotiate offtake agreements which may also give a route to finance the project.
Will have to wait further updates but happy enough with this update myself will let others decide for themselves.
Agree re very good thing for holders. Sounds very much like he has investors for the helium project and they and msmn will spin out the new co together. Reckon myself we'll end up with a portion of the helium co. to be decided in the negotiations to come.
Sounds that way if they're going with the chinese? Maybe GE just took too long.
Agree thats a lot of coal!
Good to see some action on the ground again and liked the "before production commences for #CGO this month." statement.
Don't mean to answer for you PC01 but "I still own way too much of CPX" doesn't sound like our very honest seller (thank you) has finished.
NM.
Well this pawn's crackers!
Crawled back above the 200dsma with this tick up, wondering if that's the end of the pullback.
Quite a lump the commodities business wants and will certainly bring MBU's holding down considerably.
Think it a positive for holders myself as MBU get a lot of stick and get the feeling BEN is negatively effected by it.
The Company is aware that MBU Capital Group Limited ("MBU"), the Company's largest shareholder owning 53.7 per cent. of the voting rights in the Company, is in advanced discussions to sell a significant portion of its shareholding at a price of 18 pence per share to an international commodity trading business which is expected to result in the purchaser becoming interested in 29.9 per cent. of the current issued share capital of the Company.
Does look to be on the move now, thinking had a few early doors stale bulls wanting out on news first?
Not on IG. Order rejected.
Interesting but they did state in the placing RNS that they'd only have enough cash to last til 3rdQ if they hit their median sales levels which is what they appear to have done?
"Taking into account the net proceeds of the Minimum Capital Raising, existing resources and the Company's ability to implement identified actions to improve margins and realise ongoing cost savings, the Board expects to have sufficient working capital until the third quarter of calendar year 2023, assuming that performance is at the median level of reduced guidance, as contained in the interim results released today, which the Company regards as conservative. The Group's cash runway can be extended beyond twelve months should business performance exceed these levels and/or should either of the Divestment (as defined below) or Strategic Investment (as defined below) complete within the next six months."
