Just a thought but by the time they want to mine that deep wouldn't some spotty kid be controlling all the machinery by remote control, so they should be able to go deeper if no humans are needed in the mine? I'm sure I read something on automated mining a while back where this is already being trialled.

Perhaps Newcrest are waiting for the PFS so they can raise the funds to buy HAV, also maybe GGP are waiting to know what the end value of HAV before they listen to potential offers. Or perhaps GGP and Newcrest are both happy with their current relationship and want to keep the 70/30 JV. Time will give us the answers in the meantime we can debate our opinions in a friendly manner.

Interesting to see that Artemis were basing their calculations on gold at $2000 p/t in 2019 and $2200 p/t in 2021. We are using $1400 p\t I think on the broker's calculations, surely even being convervative its time that $1400 moved north to say $1700 p/t imo.
