That article is a pretty good summary of why I believe both boohoo and asos are prime targets for takeover. Or in boohoos case I still believe Kamani will try to take it private before that happens.
He already hinted at this.
And THAT is why Shorters are closing their positions

Shorts reduced again - total positions have halved very quickly from nearly 11 per cent to just over 5.
How on earth are Shorters reducing so dramatically as the price falls further still?

I have to say I think Shorters are realising that actually this is now quite risky to be short on.
It feels like the management are gearing up for something big.
I think they are about to acquire Rev beauty on the very cheap and it’s a huge turning point to a big recovery success story.
The kids love boohoo and they seem to very credible with the market they go for. Adding beauty is inspired.
As I mentioned a week ago I was up in Yorkshire at family and all went across to Manchester City centre shopping, and I had no clue boohoo had a physical store in that city. It is a pure beauty store in the main shopping centre, and it was absolutely packed. There was a really buzz about it, I was really pleasantly surprised. Shocked actually
Seemed a really big deal.
I think in a year looking back at 40p or whatever will be strange. It’ll be for some ‘why on earth didn’t I buy at those prices?!!’
