LTT, I believe they have already stated that the award will consist of both merit and quantum (if applicable). Jurisdiction has already been decided.

pre2rcd, the $2.5billion was the precious figure for the larger project that PMO had planned but that’s now been shelved. I don’t know what the total cost will be now but I guess we will hear more on that from Navitas and Rockhopper this year.

Nic Braley (PMO) has an interesting profile too, although it’s obviously all going to change now. I didn’t know about the Israeli/Nordic bonds. I suspect an element of the vendor financing should still be available though.

The Egyptian Vulture appraisal plan is not expected to be ready until spring, with an appraisal well likely towards the end of the year. We won't see much value on that until 2023 I'm afraid.

As I (and others) have pointed out, Sam Moody was replying to emails early last year saying they had already done a lot of work on smaller project options in conjunction with the PMO team. So with a bit of luck this won’t be a process that needs to start from scratch and the new partners may already have a preferred option in mind. It will then be a case of sourcing another partner or alternative finance once a new development plan is complete.

FID by the end of 2021? Where have we heard that before?! ;-)

They have tended to stare longer drill times in the spud RNS than it has taken in reality. I guess they are allowing for delays/contingency. Of course there may be some this time, but the Admission Document states 27 days for this well so less than 4 weeks (and they’re 4 days in already).

With regards to share price, it’s difficult to predict at the moment but I think the most important thing for them now is a bit of positive sentiment. A successful well with a commercial discovery towards the mid/upper end of expectations (not a duster or a technical success).

This is one license that I suspect they’d look to trade if it is successful OKEA’s infrastructure nearby makes it attractive to them because they could then incorporate the Galtvort discovery as well in the development plan.

Happy New Year all. I have no idea how 2022 will go for Rockhopper but I think we are approaching make or break so good luck all and let’s hope it’s a good year.
