Little bit of selling pressure again today it seems.

Well if they have started the bookbuild then the deal must have been agreed, the assets known and possibly a prospectus put together.

Just feel like we might have seen more volume over the past week or two if it was very close, but let’s hope that is the case and news arrives soon.

Yes it’s interesting that there has only been one TR1 from an original institution that has sold down its holding. All of the others have sat tight, or so it seems. That suggests they are expecting to make money from here and still trust the management to deliver. I would guess a deal is only a matter of time, the question is how much time!

I bought Rockrose a bit late. £4 & £5 but not enough of them! Rode it until the endgame which was a bit disappointing despite a great return.

Hoping LBE can repeat their success (and more!). I think they have the right management and it’s a fantastic time right now to be negotiating deals - just as long as their financial backers are still prepared to invest in this market.

Suspect the clues will be in the volume if/when a deal is close.

To my mind it would make more sense to make the Toscana acquisition first. The enterprise value would be higher & the Gain Energy purchase would look more attractive with Toscana’s tax pool so that would presumably enable them to raise funds for Gain on better terms.

Looks like somebody is keen to sell today. Strange there has only been one TR1 but then again some are better at reporting than others.

I think the issue is that they can seize the assets but they can’t seize the company and its tax pools so it needs to take it over really to gain the tax pools. That’s why the vote is important.

You never know but I think the Toscana tax pools make a big difference to the value of the Gain acquisition, and will do to financiers looking at it too.

Yes looks like a few chunky sells going through this morning. Haven’t tried to buy so not sure on that.

It looks like the Toscana meeting is not until 15th September so it might be another 6-8 weeks before we get any concrete news. Without Toscana they won’t buy Gain so that needs to fall into place first.

It does seem to have gone very quiet since the spurt a couple of weeks ago. I’m sure there is a lot of legal & finance work to do - these things are never quick. Just hope HH & his team have managed to get something over the line & it hasn’t fallen down for one reason or another.
