So Blackrock sold about 56k shares and crossed the threshold yesterday.

RNS Holdings. Blackrock have reduced their holding slightly. The strange goings on continue!

Try a Fill or Kill order if you would like to buy. Some people have had success that way but only small amounts now it seems.

We did have a load of excitement here last spring only for it to fizzle out and come to nothing so I'm not counting any chickens yet.

Somebody managed to pick up 116 at 92p, but yes I can’t get a quote for any more than 2 shares.

Well as a longish term holder here I would be very pleased if that’s the case. Just hope it’s not a false dawn. It’s certainly interesting either way!

If that was the case wouldn’t they bid more than 84.5p?

Yes strange that they still aren’t offering any shares to buy despite the 12.5k sale. I wonder what the significance of these 2 shares that are always available! Is it mandatory for them to offer something maybe? Maybe we will get some more sales this afternoon and they might open it up again but for now it’s a closed shop.

And I can finally get a quote to buy for the first time in 24 hours.

Looks like that what they’ve done WS and they’ve attracted some sells at 84 & 85p. Now will they let anybody buy them?!

Thanks icemax for the info. Not sure where we go from here then! It’s funny - there have been plenty of sellers in recent weeks willing to let tens of thousands go for 70p. Now nobody is selling at 82p! If somebody doesn’t start selling then it looks like we have a stalemate again today.

Ok, this is what I read on Twitter for those interested:

LBE: “the normal market size is 3000 shares. If you put in a limit order for 3000 shares they will have to honour it or increase the asking price”.

Had a look at the Twitter chat and it looks as though the Fill or Kill orders will go through if they are for 3,000 shares.

Still no buy quote available.

Fill or kill orders only for now again.

It will be interesting to see what pattern emerges over the next couple of days. It seemed like a few 10k buys this morning took all the available shares and there were none left for the rest of the day.

It could have just been lack of stock rather than high demand today, but the lack of sellers even as they raised the bid was interesting and encouraging.

Let’s see what tomorrow brings.

Most people on here probably trade far more than I do but I’ve never seen anything like the action over the past few weeks. First you couldn’t sell but they didn’t drop the price, and now you can’t buy but they won’t increase the price.

What’s going on?! Something very unusual.

How did somebody manage to buy 700 shares?! Has only given me a quote for 2 since this morning and I don’t think the dealing charge is worth it!!

Think it was Mozza talking a few days ago about conspiracy theories and whether true or not it does seem like they want to keep this rangebound for the time being. If it was just a share swap between two institutions couldn't they just do that off market though?

Maybe there are just very few sellers about today :-/.
