MRob I share your thoughts and I pose the thought does Ariana have any intentions to mine what they find or sell out to a bigger player in a similar style to what Mariana Resources have just done? Would I have invested with more clarity from the board? Im really annoyed about all the money I've invested which is down and dead money now for the foreseeable future, now Im exercising patience!

Yes got one myself to, enquired if my broker had contacted me to make me aware of the pending takeover and was i aware one was in the pipeline. Told me management were all for it and asked what my thoughts were, replied I was not sure. The offer they are making is not quite clear, so I might just sell up 75% of my holdings. Can anyone explain the offer in clearer detail as it seems I end up with less than what the share is actually worth?

I was reading in forums from across the pond where posters were wary about investing in Turkish activity based shares due to the political situation and Syria. Erdogan announcing Europe will pay and comparing them to nazi's, the upcoming referendum and Trump raining missiles down on Syria is possibly making AAU shares less attractive than they really should be. If I was Kerim I'd retrench until the end of summer, we are all in this for the long haul right?
