Thanks Sinequanon. In reality it's only been 2 years but feels like a lot longer!

We are nearing news here now so keeping my fingers crossed it's a success, but now beginning I didn't joke a while back this would be 6p on discovery!! Oops.

Thanks DJM, always good to have something to put this into perspective, but not much help to me personally if this goes t*ts up.

Unfortunately I invested far more than I should have done here - and in the stock market generally - for reasons I won't explain here, and thanks to Putin I ended up caught between a rock and a hard place. I then compounded a bad situation by making terrible novice errors and now find myself here, holding for success and possibly losing or cashing out with a massive loss, neither of which particularly appeal to me.

I am where I am and it is what it is, but at least I have a job.

The only storm clouds gathering are over the market and the appalling share price. 5p. Even less than before HE1 owned the rig, spudded Tai-3 and fully funded for the next drill too.

I can't believe what I'm seeing. Desperately holding for news now.

@ Metom - Who knows? Anything is possible as we have already seen in the last 10 days. Nobody expected it to drop below 6p - well I certainly didn't - but here we are.

Personally I invested more than I should at the wrong times and have an average just under 10p. Now I have a choice - sell now and take a big loss, hold and hope for success; if it's a duster I'll have an even bigger loss and likely a divorce to pay for!

Catch-22 or what?!

A reassuring reply from Kefi, sounds like good cross-party communication happening re. licence issues and no effect on TK project, excellent news.

@ Cyber - I think that's where I've been going wrong! Made some terrible decisions along the way.

@ KevinRound - I'm already invested here, probably too heavily, and have been for some time.

I'm up to 210,000 shares now and topped up a few recently, but still have an average of 9.3p, hence my desire to see the SP higher, hopefully MUCH higher than 6 bl**dy pence!!

Holding for results now unless I have an opportunity to de-risk/exit before as my whole PF is well underwater ☹

I simply cannot believe this is still under 6p, I honestly thought we'd see a steady rise (& fall) this week back towards at least 7p maybe 8p? I know we had a cash raise and a bit of dilution but SP was much higher before we were even drilling.

AIM stock market is a fickle old thing, I don't think I will ever understand it.

Maybe - hopefully - some excitement will build next week and get this heading upwards before the next RNS.

I thought I was going mad there for a minute, wasn't appreciating the 'formal protest' might progress.

I'm still hopeful for project launch this side of Christmas (this year!) but all we can do is watch and wait. It feels as close as it's ever been, almost tangible, let's hope they can get it done soon.

Where in the RNS does it mention 'court case action'? I can't see it.

He didn't say which year 😉 only joking.....

In the RNS dated 27/04 it said -

"All parties are working with Government to obtain the final required clearances and, in the meantime, preparing for full construction start to coincide with the next dry season at Tulu Kapi, which is expected to start in October 2023, having already prepared the community and procured the plant and equipment, with full production targeted to start in 2025."

So Q4 may well last for 3 months but if they want to achieve an October start they need the financing to drop by then surely?

Bit surprised other posters haven't started banging the Q4 drum though, someone usually does 😉

The last TK update RNS stated "the Company remains on track for Project launch in Q4 2023".

That is just 4 days away, 5 if we don't include Sunday.

If everything is still on track we should expect an RNS this week to say the financing is done and any security issues have been addressed.

Or next Monday at the latest.

Struggling to get above 6.1p buying today, I thought it would do better.

2 days drilling done already, no issues as far as we know. Potentially 10 more for anyone to get in before Lorna's next update and for the SP to rise into results.

Maybe tomorrow will be a better day?

@ covgaz - I'm probably only 70% confident and know as much as anyone else for certain i.e. nothing, but we know what we know and we know they are drilling now, hopefully to a successful conclusion.

In the meantime there's little else to talk about except the SP, and no one knows where that will end up!! Following the SP is important for anyone that wants or indeed, needs to de-risk on the way up.

I see on HL the spread has opened up slightly - 6p to sell, 6.15p to buy. That should help the SP move up with any luck.

Just need to keep it moving in the right direction despite the 10% takers spoiling the party.

That is only a short window for investors to get in before a result - good or bad - is announced.

I think (hope) the SP has now been as low as it can go but why it was ever this low in the first place is beyond me. It is now rising again. What I suspect will happen now on the run up to TD is that the SP will rise then the 10%ers sell and drive the price back down a little, then the SP rises again then the 10%ers sell... and so on, but with any luck this cycle repeats quickly with the SP on an upward trend until it gets somewhere around 10-12p by the time Lorna announces anything.

But I know nothing and neither does anyone for certain. Judging by the last few weeks the rig could explode and the SP would go up, such is the perverse nature of the AIM stock market!

If you read my posts you'll see I was invested here but not currently, I just find it all very interesting.

Understand how this investment works? Let me see.... is it that DBay make a load of money and private investors don't see any of it? Probably.
