LP RNS could land but still no guarantee it will.

I wouldn't be surprised to see the SP pull back a bit before that happens, I'd wait before putting any more into this just jet.

Thanks for all your input and discussion, but still no more confident than I was before that this will get done anytime soon or that MB won't spring an unexpected fundraise on us like he did before. I hope I'm wrong but who knows?

If the LP isn't signed off by end of January I'm just hoping the SP will be high enough for me to exit without loss here.

I don't understand why the spread is displayed as 0.61 - 0.75 when I can get 0.6409 to sell and 0.6877 to buy on HL?

This has been dragging on for as long as I can remember and WOS has been saying 'any day now' for just as long.

The Mongolian Government could have had all this signed, sealed and delivered in the last 12 months but haven't been able to or haven't wanted to, and I can still see this dragging on for some time yet despite us all wanting it to happen.

How can we or the markets possibly be sure it is going to happen any time soon, and this isn't just a ploy to lift the SP before fundraise?

I just worked out (!) that for every £1M she needs she'll have to issue 100 million shares at 1p, even more if the SP is less or discounted, mind boggling.

At this rate we'd soon be in the same territory as other exploration outfits, with billions of shares, diluted to oblivion.

Before I was just concerned with delays etc and falling SP, but now I am genuinely worried that I'm going to lose my investment here if they don't get their act together and get drilling to discovery soon.

Worrying times.

My 200,000 shares owe me 9.48p a share. Never in my worst nightmare did I see this going to 1.25p to sell, it's an absolute disaster and will need a miracle to recover these losses.

Thanks Dai, yes I get that, keep your powder dry so to speak. Best not to tank the SP if a fundraise is required soon after, that does make sense.

I agree the fund raise pre-spud didn't help, but I don't believe they bought the rig thinking it wasn't up to the job, it had been inspected, serviced and tested after all. Pretty sure Lorna didn't just kick the tyres, say what a nice colour it was and hand over millions without proper checks.

We had a brand new forklift that blew a hydraulic line within days of delivery so even if she'd ordered a brand new rig we could still have had problems. Nothing ever guaranteed where machinery is involved, especially machinery under massive loads, and in a harsh environment.

Since taking the reins from DM she bought a rig, raised funds, had all the civils completed at tai-3 and Itumbula, drilled a hole, organised rig parts & repairs, re-worked or is re-working the civils at Itumbula and planning to drill again in January once the rig is repaired.

A lot has been achieved in a relatively short time frame from what I have seen, and all of it has burnt a lot of cash; you can't just say it cost £16M to drill 1 hole, that's far too simplistic.

The only real issue is the rig problems along the way which were unfortunate to say the least, but not completely unexpected; surely every drill of this nature must have problems of 1 sort or another?

If you bought a second-hand car - no matter how good or low mileage you thought it was - and 1 month later it broke down, got repaired, then something else broke - you wouldn't demand the Director of the Car Supermarket you bought it from resign, would you? Probably not.

The PR/RNS's on the other hand I'm no expert on so I won't comment.

We are where we are, sadly, my investment like many others is in the toilet and will need something special to recover, maybe a successful drill and commercial discovery at Itumbula or a deeper drill at tai-3?

Let's hope so, but I don't think another change at the top at this stage would do us any favours.
