I'm probably less of an expert than anyone (on any BB!) and I have even less of a clue as to what is going on with this? Can't help thinking there is much smoke and mirrors and DBay are doing very nicely out of it, thank you!

Surely every share is a trader's share, if that's what you're into?

End of May or end of day makes no difference if you can turn a profit, ultimately that's all anyone invests for.

I trade or not depending on each holding's merits, although to be fair it hasn't worked too well for me yet!!

I seem to recall a long time ago (in a galaxy far far away?) that DBay were going to turn this into the proverbial golden goose?

It may have made DBay plenty of money but nothing yet for most shareholders; I got out with a reasonable profit 2 years ago but guessing plenty didn't, still waiting for the share buybacks to give them 'fair value to exit' but now nursing big paper losses?

Note to LDG - the buyback isn't working, not achieving it's intended outcome of raising the SP. Why continue with it?

It's a strange one for sure.

@ nimrod22 - a lot of us made that mistake, buying more when it "looked promising" and have been stuck here for years waiting for Harry's promises to come true and for "it" to happen only to be diluted and disappointed time and again. So many false dawns, frustrating doesn't begin to cover it.

This time however, it sounds like it may actually happen. I think I've said that many times before but that last update makes it sound so close I can almost - almost - believe it.

Let us hope this is the time.

Hi all, another HE1 holder here.... hoping to make some money for a change!

After all the problems and dilution at HE1 I ended up holding 500,000 at an average around 3.9p, and likely going nowhere until the EWT in August and results thereafter, so I temporarily sold 250,000 and used the proceeds to get in on HeLIX last week, 20,000 @ 15.9p - a bit late to the party but better late than never, and just in time by the look of it.

Hoping to flip enough and use the money to buyback 250,000 HE1 around the same price I sold to get my average back down again, and leave whatever's left in HEX, maybe 4,000, for a free ride. Still pinning my hopes on HE1 to get me out of trouble though as have so much invested there, crystalizing such a huge paper loss not an option.

Looking good so far, tomorrow should be interesting.

Interesting.... they said in 2023 they could buyback up to 20% of the shares in issue but so far, after 12 months, have only bought back about 6.6%....

I hope the same thing isn't going to happen with the local Council signing the agreement and PM paying the compensation, because that's the way it sounds to me. PM won't pay until they have a signature, Council won't sign until compensation paid.

Result = stalemate = no oil.

After everything that has happened thus far nothing would surprise me.

@ WOS - the Company DOESN'T have oil, Mongolian land has oil and the Company isn't being allowed anywhere near it.

What really amazes me is how Petro Matad were allowed to drill a hole to find the oil in the first place. There is something fundamentally wrong with the way this has all panned out so far.

@ Hamm - We'd all like to see production in H1, even H2, but I think production in H3 is highly unlikely. Impossible even.

Good to have an update/news, but more of the same - words, waffle, heel-dragging and can-kicking. Still no bloody signature on anything.

Project launch in H1 but unlikely to be signed off until June at the earliest is how I read this, that won't leave much time in H1 for full launch.

Surely not a coincidence that Poppy and Nicole both sold a load BEFORE the KKR announcement? They must have known that was going to happen and what it wold do to the SP.

What I understand is that other investors do "research" and raise others expectations by relentlessly posting (LP) 'RNS soon' or 'RNS this week' or 'RNS next week' or 'RNS at 3pm or 7am' and yet we still haven't had the long awaited and much anticipated LP RNS that will supposedly unlock everything and re-rate the SP to a point where some of us can exit without loss.

By all means post research but don't raise expectations when ultimately no one knows when LP RNS will land, it detracts from the actual facts and destroys your credibility.

Everyone's patience has a different threshold too, so no wonder some have trouble 'focusing on investment'.

Personally I've been here quite long enough, I'd like to get out asap once I'm in the blue.

MATD not unique. What about Kefi Gold? They are also at a crucial pivotal moment.

And like MATD have been saying the final sign-off to release finance and launch the project is "imminent" month after month and year after year, and like MATD have had fund raise after fund raise and dilution after dilution, and have yet to produce a single ounce of the valuable stuff.

Jeez I'm invested in some terrible companies!! HE1 too. CLON before that and HZM more recently. Jeeeeez................
