I kept spreadsheets right from day 1 (because that's the kind of man I am) and quickly realised there was a mis-match between my spread sheets and my HL account, took me a little while and a few e-mails back & forth with HL to understand what they were saying but pretty much confirmed what I thought.

My HL account currently shows HE1 'in profit' but I know that isn't true, sadly.

Maybe one day. Maybe one day soon.

@ dai2belts - I have a spreadsheet! In fact I have a spreadsheet for every company I've ever invested in and they all hyperlink to a master spreadsheet so I can see where I am overall. Get me!

Hasn't made me a great investor but at least I can see at a glance how badly I've done so far 🙂

I trade through HL and their site doesn't allow for every buy & sell when it comes to average cost, and if for example I sold part of a holding for more than the total original cost it can't show a negative cost because HL say it's impossible to hold something that cost less than zero, but it is if you factor in profit. At least that's the way I see it. Unfortunately I haven't had that problem yet!

I was expecting and hoping for a bounce after yesterdays over-reaction to what wasn't the car crash it was made out to be, but I wasn't expecting such a rapid rise.

I just finished watching and had to double-check I'd watched the right presentation after seeing all the comments here this afternoon. I really can't see what - if anything - was negative about it.

Clearly explained the reasons for the fundraises and why the dilution was so great and apologised that it was so painful for retail investors, clearly explained where they are project-wise and what they hope to achieve, did NOT rule out a JV as has been stated as fact by some here, did tell us plenty we already knew i.e. headline figure of $50M for production facility but likely to be a lot less, nothing surprising there, and hope to have the necessary ML by end of this year.

Had been led to believe by many this was a terrible and disastrous presentation but personally I just didn't get that.

What I did get was that maybe Lorna and Graham needed to be somewhere else, neither looked especially happy to be there and that may be because the original presentation was cancelled and they had to reschedule at short notice, who knows?

Let's see what tomorrow brings.

So is helium if we want to get out of this diluted mess, and lots of it!

They raised to fund further acquisitions and have now said what at least some of it was for.

Hi Dai, already in Matd, have been one way or another since early 2022, currently hold 200,000 that owe me about 6.5p (don't ask!)

It's quite possible I am the world's worst investor, always seem to make the wrong decisions, try to trade my way out of trouble and seem to make things worse more often that not. Had some right disasters along the way too.

Biggest problem is that I'm only currently invested in AIM and every investment has been diluted to oblivion, hard to get out of such a hole unless something really comes good i.e. HE1 gets to 7p.

Still learning and trying though, always hopeful.

In August 2021 there were 615,498,925 shares in issue.

Today there are 5,315,710,763 shares in issue.

Truly horrific dilution but hopefully enough commercial helium etc for most to get a profit here or at least get their investment back, especially those like me that bought in anywhere near 10p and have only managed to get their averages down to the 3p-5p range. Made some mistakes along the way ☹

Today's trades showing as sells on LSE more than likely buys - the spread on HL earlier was 0.72 - 0.75 and I bought 20,000 @ 0.72, shows on here as a sell though.....

On that basis do you think he sees a longer term potentially large upside to LDG? It would seem so. Doesn't sound like dumping for a decent profit is what he's about.

Seems more likely he is putting great faith in DBay to turn it into a cash machine and grow their and his investment significantly from where it is now, maybe even increase his holding in time?

Only time will tell.

I think that was around the time I first invested, to say it hasn't gone well for me since is an understatement!!

Fingers crossed I can get out of trouble this time.

I'm not sure it was that clear, we were all just p*ssing in the wind with our guesses as to what would happen this morning.

I wasn't sure what would happen when 1.6 billion shares were admitted to trading so held and hoped.

Looks like I made the right choice for a change!
