Marathon chief executive officer Fred Thiel does not think there will be any significant BTC price movements around or after the halving event.

The boss of America’s largest crypto mining firm, Marathon, said that spot Bitcoin ETF approvals had brought forward what would otherwise have been the post-halving rally.

“I think the ETF approval, which has been a huge success, has attracted capital into the market and essentially brought forward what could have been the price appreciation we typically would have seen three to six months post halving,” Fred Thiel said in an interview with Bloomberg on April 9.

“So I think we are seeing part of that now already and that has put forward some of the demand. ”

All i see is sells as soon as it gets near 1.2, going nowhere in my opinion and sure to fall away again into next week. IMO

I sold at 1.138, they are selling 1.16 now. No momentum at all, those buying at 1.2 will be spiked IMO.

As halving approaches the rampy-pumpers will sell it as a pivotal moment and create some buying pressure. In actuality it means nothing to QBT at all, the value of BTC will adjust that's all.
