i also think that positive results would be glaringly obvious or they cant really be that positive can they?
However i also think its better to delay a positive announcement until everything is in place to satisfy the public demand.

The trial sponsor (University of Dundee/NHS Tayside) are cleaning the trial data and finalising the statistical basis for performing the analysis, and the output will be provided to the DMC for review shortly. The DMC assessment of futility will consider whether there is sufficient evidence of clinical improvement in the treatment arm compared with placebo to justify continuation of the trial.

We expect to be able to announce the DMC conclusions later this month in line with previous guidance as to timing thereof.

After reading the RNSs this morning my first impression was why?
Why are Evgen doing these trials? Surely if SFX-01 is the holy grail in the medicine world, has seems to be indicated by what i read on a daily basis then surely some sort of licencing should be forthwith. Big Pharmas should be queuing up to take a role in its development.
But no sign of this happening....and until it does i feel investors will believe this to be just another jam tomorrow aim company.

Of course its all a matter of opinion...and of course tomorrow is another day and the recently enrolled CBO might just deliver.

So why today, why the two together? Could have released anytime in the next few months.
I,m thinking results published last year on the 15th June....simply just wanted to include these.

if positive results then the market cap potential is any ones guess.
if results not as expected this will take a big hit....will take advantage and average down and wait for the cancer trial....have no doubt it will rise again prior to those results.

So very happy to be holding a decent amount...and either way the result is not the end of the world.

If Evgen had not been one of the 15 trials selected by lifearc would they have funded their own trial?
Will further trials be needed if efficacy is proved in the current one? Or will there be sufficient data if we are to be involved as one of the home tablet programme?
