Hello New Uncle, Burt and Sharkfund – I have transposed p[art of the the interview below.
Katie: In terms of these trials, how many people are taking place in them?
Gerry Brandon: We had intended to do five-thousand. In fact, the results from Liverpool have brought that down to a level somewhere around a thousand to fifteen-hundred …The reason being of the hundred-thousand tests carried out in Liverpool, three thousand and fifteen people were detected as having being positive for the Coronavirus. Now our objective for the field trials is data collection so we need to have a minimum of thirty to forty positive tests, in the field to actually verify the data and build the data set […] Its purpose is simply to build up the data set. That is expected to take around eight weeks […] and it also includes some of the waste detection equipment that we are installing in […] It is a population’s community screening rather than having to go directly into a vaccine ward to test Covid only patients.
This sounds to me as though GB is saying because of the data from Liverpool’s testing DVRG no longer need to test five thousand people, but rather simply needs to identify the virus in thirty to forty individual people to validate DVRG’s effectiveness. This is just my interpretation, but it sounds like the time frame will be quicker. Apparently now only eight weeks!

In the FT today,
"Dr. Céline Gounder, a member of Mr Biden’s advisory group, said Operation Warp Speed should spend more on improving the quality of testing… She added that “ Coronavirus testing is hampered by the fact that accurate tests do not produce instant results, while rapid diagnostics are less reliable. Public health experts say the holy grail is a test that is both fast and precise.” The FT also reported, “Mr Biden is planning a massive increase in coronavirus testing capacity to tackle the pandemic. Dr Gounder said the overhaul would include increasing support to state and local public health departments and improving data collection to understand the scale of the outbreak.” Dr. Gounder was also reported as saying, “We're really going to be focused on how we scale testing, especially testing asymptomatic people, and how we scale up contact tracing,” Dr Gounder said. “The most important thing is to have data.”
These comments have been made despite the potential development of a vaccines that may or may not work for all groups, or may or might not have long term negative effects, or that some people might take or might not take any new vaccine offered. Hopefully, more people will soon see the value of the work DeepVerge are doing in developing a fast and efficient method of testing for viruses and their mutated viruses, including Covid-19 and hopefully this IMO will shortly see the SP rise again to a lot more than what it is currently trading at today.

In GB’s your last post he stated, “... we are making a difference and it is being noticed.”
I wonder if GB might elaborate on this as I am sure that many other PIs as well would be interested to know the 'who'.
Does anyone know or have any ideas who GB is referring to?
Thoughts appreciated.

GB Thank you for your post on the BB today. I am a long-term holder and I invested in Integumen just under two years ago, because I believed that Labskin had great potential and could reduce the need for testing on animals. I like many other LTHs have seen a major change from where the company started and where it is currently and I feel that under your management, the company has come on leaps and bounds, and certainly a lot further from where it was two-years ago. So, thank you for all your hard work. For the record I still hold all my shares because I still have faith in you and what you are trying to achieve. I also believe that unlike many other CEOs you really do have share holders’ interests at heart. Like everyone else I am gutted that the SP plummeted from the highs of the other day, but I feel confident that when the revenues generated from the sewage testing progresses, as well as the revenues generated from Labskin are known the SP will be a lot higher from where it is today. Not only that we also have the possibility of a Covid-19 testing facility that, unlike a vaccine which has a specific use, can be adapted to test other viruses and mutations of Covid-19 relatively. I might have to wait a while longer to see a good return on my investment but I am sure in the not too distant future I will. Thanks.
Hello,
Here is an article by Techcrunch that gives some further interesting details about re Amazon Luna platform, which others may find informative.

Article by Marin Gamble.
This was published in Share Magazine 11:47 on line.
"Shares in skin analytics company Integumen (SKIN:AIM) surged 18% higher on Thursday to 62.5p following the unveiling of a Covid-19 personalised, real-time breath test.
MICROTOX-BT
Adapting its previously unveiled wastewater test in collaboration with Modern Water (MWG:AIM), Avacta (AVCT:AIM) and Aptamer Group, the group has designed, built and tested a prototype called Microtox-BT, which can analyse the breath and detect the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2 in real-time for those carrying a high viral load.
After extensive internal testing, the University of Aberdeen will initiate further testing followed by a joint-trial of up to 5,000 people in parallel with third parties, with results expected before the end of the year.
The company has also incorporated a 24 hour Digital Health Pass that indicates if someone tests positive or negative for infection. Providing a secure date and time stamp and ‘one second’ QR scanners, the pass would enable personalised go/no go entry into venues such as work, social locations, public transport and airports.
Chief executive Gerry Brandon said, ‘The company believes that to enable the economy to re-open fully, the public are going to have to take the responsibility of testing against this virus, themselves.
‘By providing an instant real-time breath test with a digital reader platform, and combined with appropriately priced products, we can drive a consumer-led duty of care for personal Covid-19 responsibility.’
WASTE WATER DETECTION SYSTEM
Integumen also confirmed it had completed the integration of a real-time Covid-19 detector and alert system into Modern Water’s Microtox water contamination system, called Microtox PD.
The anticipated launch for the product is in early 2021 and will be sold through Modern Water’s global distribution platform of over 3,000 installations."
The company has signed a memorandum of understanding for agreements to be concluded for the supply of commercial quantities of binding agents from Avacta and Aptamer group to be used in the next generation sensors.
Hopefully, this will spread the word and attract more investors . GLA
Thank you for sharing Piller2post - I found this very informative .

Hello all
I have been invested in Integumen since May 2019 and am still holding my shares. I do not post very often but follow the BB most days. I am thankfully now in profit - Thanks GB. I wondered if others had seen the last seven trades of the day and would be interested in others views thought about these last few trades: On my screen the day finished with 2 sells: one just over 9K which sold at 4.7p and the immediate earlier Sell for £6k + which sold for 4.575 (no buys in between). The immediately preceding UT Buy was for £13k at 4.7p and many before this were buys at 4.65 - I have not seen the sale price jump up this much immediately after an earlier sale price.

Hello, I read the comments on this BB frequently as I am invested here and have been for over a year. I read PIs comments with great interest and am grateful to those PIs who share their research and take the time to post this on this BB. I have rarely made any comments but I thought other PIs might find a clip I came across today published by Dr. John Campbel (29 June 2020) interesting, as he talks about the early warning signs of Covid-19 that can be identified from sewage and mentions a number of academic institutions that are looking into this and what they found out.

I am still invested here and like many others who are genuinely invested am now nursing a considerable paper loss even more than I was two days ago. Like SimonT; Alexa191 and others was very surprised by the amount of cash Block had left in the bank. Hopefully, this reduction in monies is as a result of BLOE having already paid for the field processing facility - I sincerely hope so!
When I initially decided to invest in BLOE it was mainly for the gas potential it offered and the future revenues that I hoped and still hope will arise from their extraction and sale of the gas. Since my fist investment much has happened and certainly it has not been all good. However, in my mind BLOE's end plan was always about extracting the potential gas reserves and despite a number of set backs the gas potential is still in play. I made my decision to invest expecting it would take about two years before BLOE would see any revenues from the gas - I may be accused of being deluded, but I still hope this will happen in the next few months, when at that time the worry and the paper losses I am experiencing today will hopefully just be a distant memory.

Hepseal – Yes, I am fine thanks.
Thank you to you and Fuse7 for pointing out the likelihood of imminent podcasts, which I will keep an eye out for.
I don't know if you and others have seen the link below from The Armchair Trader
"https://www.thearmchairtrader.com/is-block-energy-a-buy-yet/
And I apologise if this has already been posted, as this was generated early in Jan 2020 but it seems to be quite positive,
[…] "Block Energy looks like a very cheap options play at the moment: there is verifiable retail interest in this stock awaiting further news. If that news is positive enough, we could see this stock return to its 52-week high. It is unlikely to be sold off much below 4.25, hence the downside risk is far less than its upside potential." […]
I know we have had more recent news since early Jan but this seems to be another positive sign.
Sorry for going off topic.
GLA
Hello Hepseal I hope you are well,
You are correct in that the link is not showing on BLOCK'S website, and can only be accessed for the moment via the HTTP address I posted earlier, but I would guess that this is because BLOCK do not want to draw everyone's attention to it.
As you will recall, last year BLOCK promised to set up F&Q page and Justin promised me on at least two occasions when they had their next update they would make it live. Sadly, this never happened. I do not know why the page is live for the moment, but the fact that it is password protected suggests to me that BLOCK are still working on it and could be getting it ready to go live This could explain why the moment why they do not want all investors to be able to view the page. Of course, there could be other reasons for the password protection and who they might give access to but I am not sure how speculating about this would help.
I am sorry I can't be more helpful Hepseal, but hopefully others will now have seen that Block do have a F&Qs page, even if for some reason BLOCK don't want us to see it or access it. Once BLOCK realise that I have drawn other's attention to the page, they might decide to take it down again. Whatever happens, at least now everyone can now see that there does seem to be a web page for F&Qs and that BLOCK might keep their promise about this.
GLA
I do not know if anyone has spotted it yet, but Block do seem to have made some headway with the promised Facts & Question web page for investors (even if it is now many months overdue) but it can only be accessed by a password. Interesting timing!

P.S. I do not know the password.

I agree with AJW and his thoughts regarding the last operations update and progress report: “…Jam is coming and lots of it”. I also find it reassuring that the language used by Block in that update and report was much clearer than those following the shut-in of 16aZ, which were (if I am being kind) ambiguous to say the least and arguably caused confusion and distrust; and has IMO in no small part been a contributory factor in the drop in market cap. Hopefully, as we move forward, and BLOCK maintains its greater attention to accuracy and clarity in notifications, they will continue to regain investors' confidences and this together with positive news ( of which there would seem to be much to come) will also help to realise the company's true value.
GLA
Iceman I would think they are building the infrastructure now because they already know a lot from the survey and have got to sort out the situation with flaring and in preparation for the future production. But if the repairs to 16 aZ are successful and the Well is producing say just 100 Bopd and W38z produces say just 300 bopd and the next two wells also produce say 300 bopd, whichever Wells these will be, then we should then see Block producing c.1000 barrels of oil per day, resulting in a significant increase in cash flow from which to move on to the next phase. I appreciate that this may just be wishful speculation on my part but others on here have already suggested something similar.
With respect to the first few wells “Block Energy Building Blocks” plan states that, “The Norio and Satskhenisi operations are likely to take a back-seat to West Rustavi over the next couple of years. As such, our model assumes that production from the two fields is held at just 30 bopd (gross) until 2022” (P.10 Block Energy Building Blocks). They also stated that they are happy to keep the fields open as they are currently paying for themselves and later will be able to increase production from Nario to c.250bop and might discover other resources at Satskhenisi that can be extracted as well.
So IMO, it would seem that there is much to look forward to, both in the short-term and in the long-term.

Hi Danielu11 – I am sure you are correct in saying that once the taps are open and the everything has been tested and checked we will see a serious increase in the SP, but in the meantime it would seem to me, failing a major setback, the SP has pretty much found the bottom, so with some positive news especially IRO 16Az I would have thought that we would see confidence rebuild and the start of a serious upturn in the Market Cap.
