2 young bucks from the village in town for a night out. Badly dressed for the cold weather. A mad dash to the market place for the last bus home. Old fella from the village gives them a nod. They stand there complaining about the bus being late. T'owd lad sez nowt. Bus arrives covered in snow. Young bucks say " AT ....LAST" the old lad turns and says "...bus was always coming". Where did he learn his quiet patience? In a queue for a job or a handout in the 30s Depression? On the beach at Dunkirk waiting for transport home? Or on the 900 mile forced march to Poland having been captured at Dunkirk? Or in a landing craft waiting to land at Normandy? Patience.Perseverance. Commitment. Sadly lacking in the generations that followed. Demanding. Self Indulgent. Entitled. Now we have everything, don't value it but just want more and NOW!!

Mr Griffiths has played a blinder in Trinidad. A brilliant piece of business. If you ain't satisfied then Sell Up and Jog On. My suggestion is to rename Snowcap as SnowFlakes as a memorial to all you ingrates.

We use conkers to keep spiders out the house.....seems to work...wonder if they repel trolls too? ...🤔🤔

For my part I'd like to have invested more but didnt have the funds to hand. What limited resources i've used are I feel in very safe hands with Mr Griffiths and his team.

Putting the Muppet Gang up in a Kermit Green oubliette so I can't hear their

whinging and whining and often salacious comments has been a big help.

Being on here I've deveoped an interest in geology and maths that I wish I'd developed at school.

So big thanks to you, Keith and the rest of the good guys n gals.

I can imagine at FUD HQ the 1st XI are being schooled to respond to your imaginings as though they are facts. Their whiskers will be twitching, steaming ears and nostrils and knickers twisted so tight they'll be squealing like stuck pigs. My green box will be boiling over with indignation. Almost worth releasing them. NOT.

I'll stick to my annual production line of plum gin and vodka, jam and stewing up the rest for winter crumbles. I'm harnessing my inner Hartlepool Bob.

Your comments about PRD style made me think of a builder I know who was dubbed 'the thinking mans builder'. He changed direction on site regularly cos he had the nous to see the most effective way to do things. Always came in on time and under budget, retired young at the height of his reputation with a loyal band of clients who became his friends.
