Crustylad, you clearly don't have a clue. If you read my post properly, you will see that I mention why water has entered the well bore at KN1. It is because the gas pressure has decreased due to production of gas. It's normal for wells to produce water after the gas and oil has declined in volume. That's why perforating the lower reservoir in a new compartment where the gas has not been produced and there is a higher pressure will result in strong gas flow and no water.

KN1 has not failed. All that has happened is the natural gas pressure has declined form the upper reservoir compartment due to 6.5Bcf being produced from the 10Bcft compartment. It's quite normal for gas pressure to decline after the majority of the compartment has been produced and for water to enter the well bore. The lower compartment contains twice as much gas (21Bcft) and has not been perforated. When it is perforated the gas pressure will be strong. There is plenty of gas, as per RPS report. Like I say Crustylad, you appear to not know much about the oil and gas industry.

KN1 contains 31Bcf. It's the lower part of the reservoir that is to be re-perforated. The upper reservoir has already produced 6.5Bcf from a compartment containing 10Bcf. This has all been verified by RPS who are independent auditors. Nothing disingenuous or laughable at all, apart from your posts. ;o)

Again Crustylad, COS is nothing to do with re-perforating. KN1 has penetrated deeper gas bearing reservoirs containing around 21Bcf gas, confirmed on wireline logs.

Crustylad is not right. To say that there is no-one at Aminex with the know how regarding KN1 fails to understand that these types of workovers are done by oil field service providers and contractors who have all the skills. Quite wrong in his posting, but not a surprise.

Quite agree. Aminex now have both the confidence to invest and re-establish gas production at KN1 and the money to do it.

I think you'll find it was an important factor in re-investing back into KN1. Now they have the money to do this. Obviously Aminex wouldn't be able to re-perforate without the payment. It was a big thing to get the money.

As we all know, well at least those of us that read the RNS's, KN1 work would not start until the outstanding gas payments were received.

Considering the 2022 programme for Nyuni and Kiliwani was not presented until late last year, approval could not of been given.

They've not received approval yet, so can't rework KN1. The point is, when/if they do receive approval, they will then be able to reperforate, but the first piece of news is the approval, which can come at anytime.

Aminex have already presented the work programme for KN1 to Pura, TPDC and the Energy Minister. They are just waiting for approvals so they can carry out the reperforation.

If it's only a measly £8.5k, then you've got to ask yourself why they had to pay the full 0.9p. Not many shares available, which makes it not such a measly buy.

It's a risk either way for sure. Miss out on gains or sit and wait for a delay. One's a long position, the other is a short on the hope you can get in cheaper. GL.

Lot's of people missed out at 0.6p, buying at over 1p. Earlier the better is the way to make profit, before any hot money arrives. Done very nicely so far, but each to their own and live by or die by their strategy.
