Patience is required Roses as you know. I expect to see this rise this side of Christmas but not necessarily today or indeed for the next few days.

Going in the right direction which is positive.

I suspect there is something going on in the background with cannot be revealed. If this is not the case, and we have some low grade news in the New Year then this will be the determiner for me as to whether to continue or not with AST.

I am quite upbeat about this at the moment with this being potentially cracking value. The next news will determine where we stand and everything else on these boards is irrelevant.

Anything 9 or above is a buy so the buys/sells are a little misleading.

If you listen to JB in his interview he did say early 2020

Many of the sells today were buys which is misleading. Not sure how this fits with things though........

Not so much just economies of scale but due to the experience curve which comprises of economies of scale, learning and technological advances. the Boston consulting group first popularised the experience curve in the late 1960s. Anywhere between 10 to 30% reduction in costs as cumulative output doubles.

On positive news this will go well past 0.4 IMO.

It's all guess work at the moment. Past form does count although I used past performance to buy a house in 2008 just before the crash so that does not always work!

I suspect no news tomorrow though.......

Foolhardy perhaps and certainly high risk, but if the SP drops with no further news over the coming day or two I will likely buy in again. The lack of SP movement is an anomaly to me.

My theory and it is just a theory is they have a buyer and want the SP as low as possible. Thoughts welcomed....

I understand the headroom issue although that doesn't explain why the MMs are not raising the price when there is quite a lot of buying activity and at least a placement due. Why, is the SP not rising still is perplexing to me; and not necessarily a bad thing as if it was rising quickly I would be quite concerned about a placement being dropped imminently......

Really interested as to your thoughts on why the SP may be being held back given the buys today and placing due at some point supposedly.........

Been doing the day job today. Looking at the trades, and what stands out to me, is the buys outweigh the sells and yet the SP does not rise. Under normal conditions of expecting a placement at some point before Christmas I would expect to see the SP rising on the slightest of trades. This is not the case.......thoughts as to why this might be the case?

Woody2002- these are quite disparaging comments. I am certainly no salesperson and just a relatively novice investor. I have stuck my head above the parapet on Valirx. Let's see what happens. As soon as I saw the RNS today I thought the SP would drop by the end of today. I do expect at least one further non placement RNS over the coming trading day's. Feel free to shoot me down and tell me I was wrong after no further news. As I have indicated, one way or another the short term will not be dull. What is interesting to me at least is what happens over the next 9 months.

Woody2002-just quite heavily invested over the past month or so. If the consensus is right, which seems to be very downbeat, then my buy at 0.1198 which I was pleased about, will seem like a massive over valuation. That and the other buys too. What I will do is monitor this closely over the next week or so. Here for the next nine months in the first instance and I will then re-evaluate.

And the large sell. Like I say an interesting time ahead. It won't be dull either way.....
