Rome was not built in a day and whatever happens tomorrow the future looks a damn sight better than it did before the recent RNS. Give it several months and things will look better, not just for oil but he world we inhabit.

In short, Tullow has a potentially bright future whereas up to the RNS it did not. Happy to be holding here.

I really hope you are right Tomoz with the sentiment of the roadrunner. In which case, and if this goes to around 13p in the next week, I will be putting in a hell a lot more than my current holding.

Irrespective of how oil opens tonight, 23p within hours and up from there imo. Short term- retail investors and then the institutions once supply issues are resolved. If I can buy below 20p, I will be and I suspect there will be many thinking along similar lines.

If the volume of discussions over the weekend is anything to go by, this will fly tomorrow..........

HeresHopin-I am one of these numpties but have been keeping an eye on this company for 7 months. Originally bought in just before OPEC+ decision believing a deal had a reasonable chance of happening. You live and learn and now have an average of 13p on a 10K investment investment. I have done my research on the industry and company and numpty is a little disingenuous.

I suspect a deal to cut supply will take longer than many think but this of course will happen at some point in the next 6 weeks. Hopefully more opportunities to buy in on such dips.

Happy for this to drop on Monday but that is unlikely. I have an average of 13p with 10K invested. I held off putting more in on Thursday and kicking my self there. That said, very happy with the RNS. We will not see 10p again imo.

This amounts to a betting game atm. However, a placement seems like an outside bet to me.

nomlungu-yes and then there was a second RNS dated 14th November 2019. Still need to find funding though but with the recent appointment I am a little more confident of a way forward and have been further buying since this.

One thing for sure.........divorce solicitors will doing a booming business in 6 to 12 months time!

Going down and the question is how low this will go.

Well that is good news. More money, more inflation and therefore higher interest rates. Exactly what happened in the early 1980s with the world dept problem. Then saw an increase in economic activity, kick starting economies. Exactly what is needed to get out of the current low growth rate for the past decade. Hard in the short term but v.good in 2 to 3 years time.

Perhaps. I would say there is more than a 50% chance that oil supply will be curtailed at some point ethier before 1st April or at some point in April.

Bankfool- engaging with the current BoD has been shown not to work time and time again; this is unfortunate but indicative of their approach to managing shareholder expectations (or quite frankly not managing these). Satu and George could not even find the time to attend for the outcomes in February. Even if one could not attend the other should have. At least now there is a rationale for not attending any future meetings with the pandemic.

I have absolutely no confidence in the current running of the company. This is such a shame and as such I will be voting no. They still have a small window of opportunity to issue a descent RNS.

Looking at the accounts the amount spent on wages is incredulous. As I said a while back there needs to be a clear plan, cost measures being put in place and much better PR including descent RNSs that do more than simply ask for more money. The proceeds, if this goes ahead is fumes money only and will only last a few months. News needed and needed now ie in the next 2 days. This last point is key if the BoD want the company to have a good chance of continuing in the immediate future.
