Let's see. The number of closures is the US is really gathering pace. Market sentiment is so hard to predict especially when the big boys (governments) are involved. My average is still considerably below the current SP and in hindsight I could have top sliced this although things are too volatile and I am not clever enough to get this right...... Just my luck for example, we see this go up....who knows. What I would say is in the coming months this will likely rise out of the blue.

It's still just over 30 which does not sound like much although I was expecting a fairly steady downward trend to 25. That still may happen and who knows, although when the Asia market really takes off tonight that will be the first sign of whether this is a blip or not.

As one of my consultancy jobs I was advising an educational commercial firm who spent a fortune of this and the return was not worth it. At this time, depending on your business it might be worth looking at cost reductions from every possible angle.

Strictly speaking business starts at around 7am with RNS potential news to look out for....not wanting to add another hour to your day. This can become obsessive and try not to let it get that way. I would also add, I have sold too early in the past and having patience is quite important. I usually set timeframes and with oil it is 18 months for me but that is a personal thing.

Before the above, not looking at all good for Shale. Me thinks Trump being Trump he has some cunning plan although the markets are the markets and all powerful.

Arsalanb-I'll second what Magsy18 has said. I would also add markets are unpredictable and not many people (if any) know how this will pan out in the coming weeks. If we did, we would all be millionaires this time next week.

Good points Longish. I myself put in another 25K across TLW and PMO today. That's me done for 2 to 4 weeks unless I see some bargains. Today was just about extending positions for the distant future.
