Very interesting point BB. To entice the right partner, it is possible that RKH may have to relinquish, say, 5% of it's share of SL.

As SL has recently been upgraded by 16%, that really shouldn't be a problem especially if that reduces RKH costs proportionately.

All we need is to get SL into production and then all those dreams become achievable.

And that, on the coldest day for years, and at the same time as there are concerns there isn't enough UK gas to go round, so yet another reminder to everyone that windmills and EVs aren't the answer to all our energy needs.

That makes sense LTT - I can remember a time when posters here were saying that if RKH got a €50M total award (or it may have been £50M) then they would have considered that to have been pretty good. It looks as though we'll have got that much, even if the ad hoc committee annuls the award.

If the Ad hoc committee decides to uphold RKH's claim against Italy, but reduces the award (i.e. a partial annulment), presumably the accruing interest would be reduced by the same proportion. That would mean the compounded accrued interest would be quite a lot less than we are currently assuming, as the accrued interest period goes back to the date when RKH filed the claim in 2017, doesn't it?

Any OM award expert out there who can confirm this?

While I'm sure the folk who bought the OM award will be wanting to get on with it, now we're into the New Year, if interest is accruing at €1.5/month, then another month's delay won't upset them too much.

Whatever the correct interpretation, it seems inconceivable that such a long-standing company with such astronomical prospects (which everyone has been waiting for for decades) can mess things up so spectacularly just as it's about to happen.

At the very least, shareholders need a better CEO statement than 'the longer-term trading outlook for the Group remains positive'.

Thank God we have an intellectual like FeckhamHall here to point out this is a pump & dump pyramid, otherwise we’d never have guessed.

If you look back over decades, it's been known for ages that there are massive oil & gas reserves in the FI area. Some easier to access than others, and as more is known, so those reserve estimates just keep increasing.

What some don't appear to understand is that SL is the golden key to unlocking all this, providing the revenue and local infrastructure to make that possible. As that is developed, so the access to more remote and deeper reserves becomes a reality, for both oil and gas.

Assuming the already identified licence areas have reserves as big and the oil quality as good as anticipated, there are hardly adjectives BIG enough to convey just how massive all this could be.

Those, who a few weeks ago were posting here about selling-out for, say, 40p/share are complete lunatics. Talk about stealing gold bullion from simpletons, or perhaps those who came here to make mischief.
