RE: The Cellarman confirms the delivery !27 Apr 2025 10:53
I think it's pretty courageous of Lovely to publish his experience for everyone to poke fun at, but it isn't funny and it's easily done.
Let me remind you of some key lessons, which I posted at the beginning of March, on the basis that you may have a large 'main' holding of RKH shares and perhaps trading just a few additional shares, on the side:
'Lessons learnt:
- take the retracements in your stride, as this one really is only going one way, but it will take time and, at times, some steady nerves;
- trade a few shares on the side to earn a bit extra if you wish, but don't put your main bet at risk, 'cos you could mis-time things;
- don't try to be too clever, as it may backfire. Actually, it almost certainly WILL backfire if you are trading the rises and falls repeatedly, unless you are lucky;
- Don't get out too early (Abbey National was an example where many regretted taking their money and walking away too soon);
I finished building my main position around Christmas time and have left it alone since then.
Best of luck!'
For the record, my 'main position' remains untouched and intact and I have traded a bit since I posted the above, but only when I am 100% confident that things won't go the wrong way. So I'm not like some who post here, who claim to be slicing and dicing - which I do not believe, as that is far too risky.
