RE: Project Finance12 Jun 2025 12:22
Oh yeah, I too 'spoke to someone many months back who had great reservation the Sealion project would get finance', particularly when PMO were leading the project and how right those someones were and just look at PMO now, in some graveyard somewhere.
The difference between then and now is the calibre of management. Traditional British management, hit by a problem it didn't see coming, doesn't know what to do except throw even more expensive resources at it, takes fright and runs for the exit before falling into a gigantic hole - RIP.
Navitas, whose managers know what they are doing, including knowing there are going to be problems (which is what they are there to manage). When problems arise, as they surely will, they get on and manage them.
Stop all this nonsense and drivel. Navitas are demonstrating their capabilities. Trouble is, too many posters here have never experienced really competent management, so can't recognise it when it stares them in the face.
Instead, we should be celebrating that we have an operator that really does know what it's doing, including having exceptional ability to raise funding.
