Can someone explain why there seems to be an assumption that Shenandoah FO output will be sub-optimal?

I've said it before and will say it again (and again if necessary):

Some posters/investors seem troubled by the prospect of issuing more shares to raise funds.

There are many reasons for issuing new shares to raise funds and probably the worst would be where the company is about to go bust and issuing new shares is the only way to keep the light on - RKH came perilously near to that not all that long ago and the RoI were hoping that their delaying tactics regarding the OM claim would finish us off. Well, we're still here and very much alive Italy !!

But now, the issuing of any new RKH shares is a million miles from that scenario. This time to get us to FID and then to first oil, when RKH should be worth $Bns.

Other examples where issuing new shares should see a company's sp rise include funding the building of a new factory to manufacture their new, World-beating product range, or funding the move to much needed new office space for business expansion.

If RKH does need to issue new shares to top-up funds for FID, I would hope that every shareholder will be scrambling to get as many as they can.

You could equally ask why the sp fell so much on 3/6/25, and during/after the AGM last Friday.

I've always believed the OM claim outcome has a psychological component, which would be expressed in the sp either up, or down, depending on the outcome.

This is partly because of the time and attention OM has attracted and also, its handling is a tangible and public demonstration of the competence of RKH management, to manage a significant, complex and drawn-out issue.

So I'm not surprised if a mere €31M seems to attach greater significance to the sp, at least while the news is still reasonably hot.

I haven’t heard a single quote saying or insinuating that SL isn’t going ahead.

It was all about what’s needed to be done to get SL FID & sanction across the line.

No distractions about BOR and the SFB reserves, etc.

Also, how much RKH will need for FID and what to do if the insurers don’t pay up, and how we’re going to do it together.

When RKH management are honest and engage with shareholders , some people don’t seem to like it.

And with that, the RKH sp fell ! What the hell do people expect?

I think the thing with the last warrants was they remained in the ISA (assuming the OO shares were in an ISA) for 30 days, after which they had to be transferred out into a normal trading account, unless they were exercised (I.e. turned into shares) within those 30 days.

So why didn’t we exercise our warrants within the 30 days?

Because the warrants shares would have cost us 9p each, but the market sp at that time was 7p.

Could there be any deductions from last year's €45M tranche 1 payment (€26M used to pay bills and €19M retained by RKH), and/or from the €31M insurance pay out?

It was believed that there might be 10% to 15% tax deductible from the OM award payments, as that money was in lieu of revenue from OM. But as the ICSID claim has now been annulled, on what basis would any deduction (e.g. tax) be justified?

Because there’s just a chance that someone may believe that you know what you’re posting about and then try doing the same.

At every level Ripper's posts show total lack of knowledge and understanding about investing, RKH and the OM arbitration process.

Why we even both acknowledging this f00l (including me writing this) is beyond me, except to warn others to take no notice.

I think his posts about slicing & dicing are especially dangerous for others who might be tempted to try doing the same.

I've posted a few warnings about doing this and how one can lose a great deal, even with a share that is generally rising. Greed, encouraged by ignorance and then losing one's nerve are usually the main drivers leading to such losses.

I can see the temptation of appraising Isobel/Elaine, but I expect Sam has had enough bad experiences from various distractions and has hopefully learnt to focus on the main objective - SL.

It would be great to have Isobel/Elaine appraised, especially if a predator came prowling to take out RKH.

But after all the false starts, I believe we need to get SL nailed in the way Shenandoah is being managed, thereby entailing far fewer risks to SL's success.

A small percentage of SL would just be a start and a very good opportunity to work together in a virgin territory, getting all the right infrastructure agreed and in place.

If it starts and ends with SL, then you’d probably be right, but we all know that’s not what opening up the FI as a massive new region is likely to be.

However, the general signal emitted from successful Shenandoah must be very reassuring news for everything to do with SL after so many years of false starts?
