Other than ensuring all admin requirements and funding are satisfactorily organised, I can’t think of any reason for Navitas to delay, particularly as they have set themselves some pretty challenging timings.

The only point seems to be Sam’s unusually definite statement that FID would be towards the end of the year, but perhaps end October /beginning November meets that criterion.

I think you missed an important point. The 549p sp on 24/9/2010 wasn't based on any great understanding of what was involved, NAV at the time, it was just an aberration, which evaporated very quickly.

I'm suggesting something similar might happen, equally briefly, at FID and then reality will resume and the sp stabilise to something more realistic.

I'm also saying that we just don't know and will have to wait and see.

Not really rocket science, but SL FID is going to be a potentially interesting moment, especially after so many 'experts' were confident that SL (and all the rest of the FI oil/gas) would be a stranded asset.

Of course the number of additional shares issued over 15 years has an impact, but so does the change in sentiment to hydrocarbons and so many other factors.

I suspect there'll be a flurry of activity at FID, including some publicity, perhaps reminding everyone about the Falklands War and here we are 43 years later - who knows?

Also, what will Navitas announce? Just FID? Or maybe FID and sanction, plus perhaps the new partner who will be needed to make everything happen to 1st oil and beyond? If so, who might that be? Some relatively unknown, or a very big name that we all recognise?

None of us knows exactly when it's going to be, or what exactly any announcement could include and whether some other spectacular World event pushes this topic off the headlines and spoils the whole thing.

Many new RKH shares have been issued since the all time high of 549p on 24/9/2010, which was a spectacular aberration, which we should all be able to understand now, if you consider the amount of work needed to get us to where we are now, as well as things being very different then.

It would be rather nice if the sp did go to 600p at FID, but anyone with an ounce of gumption can see that's a ridiculous suggestion.

Maybe after 1st oil, but by then I'll have sold out (apart from keeping a few just to see what happens) and enjoying myself.

I must say that there is a strange obsession about 'Dilution' on this BB, which is seriously misinformed, either by mischief makers, or the inexperienced.

Certainly dilution is a problem if issuing new shares is to raise funds to stop a company from going bust, or other such things.

In this case the so-called 'Dilution' is to enable RKH to do what it went to the FI to do and get SL into production.

It's much the same as issuing new shares to raise funds to build a new factory to increase production of a fantastic product, where current production cannot meet demand.

So please stop all this 'Dilution' obsession and see things as they are.

Regarding Ralph, we regularly argued on the BB.

Regarding Sam, when something concerned me, I contacted him (rather than witter publicly on a BB about something I might not have understood fully) and he always graciously discussed whatever it was. Sometimes we agreed and sometimes we didn't, but I didn't publicise downright lies about Sam on a public BB (as you do) in the hope of influencing the sp in may favour.

Sam is working tirelessly to make a success out of this.

DC, on the other hand, YOU ARE A CHARLATAN, so stop causing trouble and get off this BB.

I'm not saying Sam and the Board have never made any mistakes over what is now a long time.

But I repeat what I have posted many times: The person who never made any mistakes was the person who did nothing at all.

DC has an agenda, around what looks like a messed-up strategy and he just can't get over it, so tries to blame the likes of Sam and us for his stupidity, or even recklessness.

With each such post, he just makes himself look increasingly silly as we sit and wait for FID.

As long as FIG and the islanders remain committed to SL going ahead, the more political wobbles there are about Israel, the more the Israelis will want SL to go ahead and ASAP.

To me, this indicates the AI prediction for FID 'Some analysts believe the FID could come by the end of September 2025' is much too optimistic and probably October as well.

As we sit biting our fingernails, it’s worth remembering that it’s up to the various management teams to work together to identify all tasks and issues and then manage them appropriately to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget, which is exactly what they are doing right now.

It seems to me that the role of some shareholders (and apparently some no-shareholders), on the other hand, is to think of spanners to throw into the works, just to be a nuisance.

After the RKH sp euphoria on 4/9/25 and the subsequent fall back to where we are now, some may be feeling rather bruised by the experience and wondering what the hell's going on, when the sp should be going through the roof.

First, we haven't quite reached that stage yet, but more important for now, I think it worth saying that Tuesday's General meeting would be pretty pointless, if FID wasn't not going to be announced fairly soon afterwards.

RKH old hands all know that banana skins are in plentiful supply, but this one is looking about as certain as it could be.

Let's hope enough of us have voted FOR all the resolutions and that Tuesday will be no more than a rubber stamp exercise for that additional funding.

As SH has just posted, the bulk of the funding is already 'in the bank'.

Also, don't forget that FID announcement could include project sanction as well, plus a few more bits of very good news, so don't think that the euphoria is over - it hasn't really begun yet.
