just what you will read about DGR and how it’s all unfolded..

If you read through the various threads over on the DGR hot copper forum you will get a good understanding, a taste, of how things are going over there… how the business has unfolded over the last few years.

The level of poison and venom that investors post for Mather over there, is far beyond anything here for Scott and the rest of management of Solg.

You will read a lot about the details of the ‘loan’ deal Mather made to fund DGR recently… the absolutely eye watering interest he will get from DGR for it.. it was a great deal for him personally…. Very nice earner.

You will read about how much money Mather and Moller have paid themselves through DGR over the last 5 years whilst delivering absolutely nothing… and the various business deals DGR have done, that have been disastrous for shareholders.

You will read that one of the other Mather companies, have issued a vote of no confidence to have him removed.

It’s a standard story I guess of CEOs doing very well out of Junior miners, whilst shareholders take all the pain. But some of the details of the DGR carnage will leave you shaking your head… Maybe even make you wish you had never heard of Mather or any of his businesses.

I think you could probably correlate a link between low IQ and time spent on social media

We have re arranged the head office so the cigar cabinet is closer to the wine fridge…

During December Maria lost her pen, so we had to do an additional stationary order. These things have turned out to be more complicated than we originally anticipated due to an unfortunate spelling mistake on her last personalised pen, so we anticipate the dates being pushed back for that delivery.

Also, shout out to Pedro, who gave up his weekends to water the plants over the month long Christmas break.

I will return to Ecuador when my hotel suite is upgraded and the Spa is up and running again. I will then pay close attention to the fish farm and tree planting developments, until after the election.

As with BHP chasing Anglo… They are not actually discovering and building new copper deposits/mines… preferring to simply buy up or merge with existing producers.

Non of the management are ‘topping up’ at these ‘cheap prices’… It seems no large stakeholders have either, as we have had no RNS for that…. And no large mining industry investors are bragging about taking or increasing a position either at these prices..

I am not Bozi… and Bozi is not me… positive comments re Solgold have been rare, as there has been so little positive development to comment on for years..

I am simply an investor that does continue to hold, all be it now in the bottom drawer, buried so deep they almost in the floor boards, covered in cobwebs, mentally written off.

The Solgold/Cascabel story has soured.

Led by a management out of its depth… It’s mostly mothballed with no plans to restart… still hiding behind its failed strategic review (code for attempt to monetise)

It is what it is now.

I think B3ast just about summed it up there…

I expect an RNS at some point in January regarding the planning of another meeting with G mining, to again discuss starting the planned geo tech drilling… it will probably be sufficiently vague and devoid of any real detail, so we can’t actually see the woefull pace of progress there.

Obfuscation is the norm at Solgold under Scott these days.

Tufford is inept and totally out of his depth in a role of investor relations….

We better not still be paying him. He is just a cheerleader.

It seems the author of that AFR article are simply stating the obvious situation Solg are now in…. The promise and hype has died away… and we have Scott watering plants in the office for the next 2 years, hoping someone will want to buy us one day.
