With Dan already being an insider when he was announced the new CEO, so close to Scott and part of the team, we have not received the usual, get all the bad news out in the first few weeks, blame the previous guy for the many problems.

We would probably be less in the dark about what’s actually going on , and what hasn’t been done or what hasn’t progressed, if we had got an outsider to replace Scott… it would all have come out in the wash.. with Scott still on the board, for reasons I can not fathom, it’s difficult for Dan to throw the guy under a bus in an attempt to distance himself from failure.

IP would you care to guess the share price, if Dan announced the Strategy review, an attempt to monetise the asset has failed, so Solg have reverted to trying to progress it themselves as there is no other option?

Well Q2 should bring Dans grand unveiling of his plan regarding the separation of Cascabel and everything else.. he announced it would be revealed by the end of this quarter..

The financing of it all is what interests me..

I would not hold your breath for any monetisation event for Cascabel though.

I think it’s fair to assume Scott got moved aside after he oversaw the shutdown of operations, expecting a sale/deal to be done by his friend Bob.…. Its not happened, so we have to restart from back where we were 2 years ago.. trying to advance it ourselves… so his position was untenable at that point.. especially given the value destruction he created.

I’m assuming the only hope now, to achieve a reasonable price, is to be able to prove Tandy is clearly a go as starter mine….

God help us all if the drilling campaign doesn’t help prove it… what price then?

Half of the people on this board voted for Scott at the AGM and argued things would be far worse without him.. His stewardship of Solgold was totally abysmal.

Dan was part of that team… he needs to show a clean break and an ability to actually deliver some progress. Starting with revealing the explore co details before the end of June, having financing in place to fund it all, that is not discounted and providing regular progress updates.

Time will tell if Dan is different, or if he is just another extension of the CGP cowboys.

There is room for confusion as in the new ceo and reset RNS, it clearly states that Blanca is to be part of the spun off explore co. Not packaged with Cascabel.

That they couldn’t monetise Cascabel during an incredible, record breaking commodity run, should set alarm bells ringing..

If you are finally doing what you had planned to do 2 years ago, to support your on going, years old theory about using Tandy as a starter mine, to understand more about tailings sites, it’s not in any way a reset….

What it is, is just getting on with what was planned and needed over 2 years ago.. when the share price was 20p.

P9 looks like the higher grades, 0.4, are circa 600m down.

Let’s hope a combination of some hopefully positive drill results, along with much improved metals prices, can tip this in to a clear financial starter mine… inflationary costs included.

I am not placing any eggs in the Tandy basket just yet… I could be wrong a sits been so long since I checked, but if my memory is correct, Tandy as we know it now is not that shallow.. circa 500-600 metres down..

I’m no geologist, but I doubt it’s become any closer to the surface over the years.

I’m hoping this clear plan for the next few months, helps to qualify Solgold for the further Franco funding.
