It’s such a basic point of common sense it should not even need pointing out!

If you are going to be late, due to circumstances, you let people know in advance and explain the reasons why… you don’t just ignore everyone.

People tend to be far more understanding and accommodating if delays are clearly explained and reasoned.

Just failing to deliver anything and then saying nothing is beyond poor.

Solgold are the same outfit they were 12 months ago… Scott and Dan just changed chairs, I have said it before.

If things were different, when he took over, Dan would have publicly thrown Caldwell under a heavy bus and been far more public and open about previous failures, he would have immediately announced an end to the strategic review and then the new, improved, way forward….. but he didn’t… He has avoided all and any public interviews and opportunities for communication with shareholders since his appointment… Serious question , what kind of CEO does that?

Nothing has changed, Solgold are now a lifestyle company.

Releasing on the very last day possible is not a good look really.

As painful as it is for us, Franco need to show some old fashioned ‘tough love’ and stick to their terms… Solgold need to be forced to deliver progress for the funds.. not let off and rewarded for not delivering.

There is no tranche 2, simply because we haven’t been able to do the work to qualify for it… it’s that simple.

When the (much appreciated) monthly updates stopped being released, that was the point I started to doubt we could achieve a timely and smooth payment of the 2nd tranche of funds… and we will run out of funds again very soon.

If you accept Solgold always fail to deliver anything ahead of schedule, or even just on time, you begin to understand that when they say they will aim to update end of Q2, it probably means somewhere around Q4.. it’s just how it always is.

They should drop all but the 10 or so priority targets… our management have shown over recent years they are incapable of progressing them … they have been just a number to boast about owning… nothing more.

Zero chance of any DFS this quarter… zero…. Absolute nonsense. We only just started drilling works at Tandy..

Add, is it really a new team?

My reading re the ASX listing is, if it was a real, happening event, It would have been pushed and promoted as the next step, when we left the TSX, but we didnt do that, we left and its faded away with no further mention.....

At the opportune moment to announce it, or announce our solid intentions to list there, nothing was said.... silence.

Just my view..

There is something rotten with this company... Year after year after year of abject failure by management to progress its one and only proven asset.

Yet burning through 10s of millions every year getting nowhere... and with a new CEO, who hasn't spoken a single word since he took his promotion.

It has all the signs of a classic lifestyle company. Nothing seems to have changed other than Dan and Scott swapped office chairs and stationary.

Dan sounds like Bernie Madoff.

It’s 3 months since we raised just 18m dollars…. A chunk of that went on compensation, another chunk on Tandy drilling. Given our cash burn rate, we must be looking at needing more funds in just a month or so, just to keep paying Dan, Scott and the boys ….

RodneyT, That doesn't explain why there are no people loading up at 6p, If the Noront example was any type of guide and 0.8-1.1 NAV was in anyway potentially achievable, they would be piling in at 6p... but the volume is pathetic.... no one outside this forum seems to believe any progress will be made any time soon.

Can anyone explain why there are no buyers piling in to Solgold shares at 6-7p, if we are soon going to go for over 100p…. Or even 60-80p… or even just 20-30p…. Even just 15p??

The volume shows no mining investment companies or even wider investment companies are loading up on our shares… even at 6p. Yet people are discussing imminent sales or JVs like it’s a cert…
