My point Add is I am not a believer in the £1 a share hype nonsense that some here are.

I will exit at the first sniff of anywhere circa 40p.. and I think Newmont offloading to another major, would probably see us there, if only for a short time.. exit points etc etc.. I have learned my lesson and my average is low enough to take that and run.

Remembering there now over a billion more shares in existence compared to the last time any major paid 40p for a chunk of Solgold shares.. 40p today is very different market cap to 40p a few years ago..

And actually when you consider the biting cost of inflation over that time, and lost opportunity costs elsewhere, we were all fools for not exiting at above 40p back in those days… the benefits of hindsight and all that

To be honest, I’d happily see Newmont sell their stake if that’s what they want… if from here they could offload it to any other major for say, anywhere over 30p, that news, sudden takeover rumours, renewed interest etc would see our price quickly head towards 40p, creating a decent exit opportunity for many.

Well we are drilling and getting very positive drill results....

Its amazing what can happen when an explorer actually does exploration drilling.. Its been way too long since Solgold did just the basics of exploration.

Whats changed is Scott got moved aside and we got back on with it..

You are correct in what you say PBow. But it shouldn’t come as a surprise they are failing to meet their own schedule.. it’s totally standard here.

I also believe, and it’s purely my own guess/assumption here, that they have had some technical issues with at least one of the current rigs, hence the need for an additional and potentially a 2nd additional rig. That would explain the sizeable delay in holes drilled, and then the news of more rigs to complete the drilling…. They can spin it to sound like extra drilling rigs, without having to explain why…. Again that’s just my view on that issue.

This is very promising news… and a potential 5th rig being deployed for additional holes to the current drill plan is quite a nice detail.. roll on the next set of assays!

Dan has a lot of work to do… recovering the value collapse under Scott’s leadership . It’s almost a mountain to climb. Many institutional investors won’t invest in companies below certain value thresholds, we need to get back to MSCI values… so it’s a long way to go, but hopefully news on the way regarding the regionals will have a huge impact.

Stackhouse… it’s not a meritocracy… mediocrity borderline failure, is rewarded well in our boardroom.

Scott could state what he wanted… it meant nothing.. he was totally useless! and is now just a surplus to requirements salary man.
