The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with Inclusive Asset Management's Alexandra McGuigan has just been released. Listen here.
Yeah, that sounds like the most logical way to communicate with each other in the 21st Century. Much easier than texting...... why do I read these boards
What news dvharrison and Earl? What do you class as ‘news’? They release RNS after RNS of distribution and sub distribution partners, orders etc…. what have your 3 days of research and LinkedIn in ‘Zenova’ searches found that my years of following have yet to dig up? I am very intrigued to read something from anyone who is new to this board this week
Do some proper research Earl, it was posted 2 days ago...... along with all the other posts from the likes of Omnis, Fire Services Group, Distreo, Bells and Two Tone etc.... trying to build a digital presence but what is there expectation? Piddly orders here and there. Where are the orders that will actually make a decent profit rather than just keeping the lights on?
Morning Blu, I went across to ADVFN to have a look at posts and also found this:

Do you follow this type of speculative charting?

I’m assuming it’s Matthew Perry
Have a read up on fly solartech Roger. You may notice a familiar name and location
Twink - For all we know, the £500K subscriber and this latest 'potential strategic partner, active in the solar energy space' are one in the same...... and they're simply going to average down their subscription investment by taking a significant stake in the company for peanuts.....hence why we possibly never saw the subscription shares hit the market....
SnipVW - I also had similar thoughts regarding actually 'owning' a manufacturing plant. they mentioned moving to another site in the Sept RNS:
"In May 2023, the Group's manufacturing operations were relocated from Lainate to Tolmezzo in Udine, Italy. This move was made to lower the cost base and take advantage of more flexible working arrangements. From Tolmezzo a core staff, together with a further flexible contract labour team, manufacture Verditek's flexible lightweight solar panels using the latest components sourced from around the world. The Tolmezzo facility is more automated and allows a higher quality product while simultaneously reducing costs."
Fly Solartech are based in Tolmezzo and also:
"Fly SolarTech Solutions SRL is a company of which a director of Verditek Solar SRL is also a director and shareholder. Transactions are conducted on an arms length basis and subject to authorisation by Rob Richards, CEO of Verditek plc."
Twink - I would assume that Metrotile won't be able to simply outsource another supplier to retrofit a different solar tile onto their Qube design roof tile without some considerable upset to production and assembly lines? Lindab panels being much bigger than tiles might be easier to find an alternative product so I would hazard an educated guess that Metrotile/IKO Metals would be the obvious JV/buyout/finance option. like you say though, HUGE dilution of an already shocking SP or...... could they simply delist?

The below extract was only RNS'd in September! What has happened to the £500,000 they raised? Why have these sales not materialised? NZV JV? Something seems very off here:
The Group has highly promising partnerships with roofing providers. Verditek has signed a long-term supply agreement in the period with Lindab Profil AB, a Scandinavian supplier of roof systems, and they have placed multiple orders for installations in a number of countries.
Verditek is also collaborating with Metrotile, who are incorporating the Verditek solar panel into their roof tile products. Both these opportunities enhance the potential for commercial growth in the lucrative roofing sector. Verditek continue to work with two other large roofing companies elsewhere in the world as we develop a similar offering for their respective markets.
As a result of these collaborations, the value of order intake in the first half of 2023 is approx. £395,000 versus £232,000 in the first half of 2022. The majority of the order intake is expected to be recognized as revenue in the second half of 2023.
Hi Roger et al - has anyone actually got any info on Net Zero Valley??? I have found nothing in my searches; no web site, no BOD details, no planning applications for any manufacturing plants that I can link to them, very little on Serendipequity (bits but nothing worth writing about). Certainly doesn't instil any confidence in a JV at the moment. For anyone who wants to do a bit of sleuthing, their is a connection to Fly Solartech who are based in Tolmezzo (the location of Verditeks manufacturing operations......) but again, nothing that I can make any connections in relation to the JV though
I do wonder though, how does the subscriber who got the 40% discounted shares at 0.45p feel now, when the SP has dropped almost a 1/3 from their entry?? Shocking

Hi twink, I’m up to speed and know the difference between the 2 base products (tile v panel) , my question was regarding the solar aspect of it. You can clearly see the difference in shape and style between the 2 and I understand that the panel ones would expect to be longer due to this reason but what I would expect is to see similarities between the 2 solar panels and I can’t. Furthermore, I can’t find anything on Lindab referencing Verditek, only Verditek RNSs
Verditek also produce mono-crystalline panels btw - I'm just trying to better understand why 2 solar tile companies using Verditek's panels are using different tech which has differences in efficiency. Perhaps it's simply a cost implication to the customer?
Are those of you who are either invested/on the fence/out - researched up on the above 2 named companies and their respective products? (eQube and SolarRoof). If you are and you're knowledgeable of these products, I'd be interested in your thoughts regarding the differences between them. The eQube references their use of Verditek's Multi-crystalline Si cells but Lindab's SolarRoof has no reference to Verditek at all (that I have found) and also uses Mono-crystalline Si technology. I'm still researching into why there are fundamental differences between these 2 products but my gut feeling is that Lindab are perhaps no longer using Verditeks panels? An update from the BOD would help.....

Whoever it is Roger, if they're still holding they're also at a loss considering the subscription was @ 0.45p per share!
Peel Hunt are the current holder of the shares until otherwise stated. I honestly don't know why it is bothering you so much? Until a TR1 is issued saying they have been moved to another holder or Peel have reduced their % holding through a TR1 reporting threshold, I just don't see why it needs to be mentioned on here so often?
Roger, it seems that nearly every time I check in on this BB you are talking about there being no TR1 for the £500,000 raise they did in September. Surely you've seen the Peel Hunt LLP TR1 for a 16.131% holding?? If so, what else are you expecting here?
I just don’t know Roger. I was last in here only a few weeks ago at just under 1p. I saw the rise to around 1.3 ish and even got a dummy sell for 1.26 that I stupidly (in hindsight of course) didn’t take. I then watched it fall over the next few days and couldn’t get a sell price until eventually at break even (well, about £8 up after fees tbh!!!) I knew something must have been up then but to think it’s now only 2 1/2 weeks since that spike and the SP practically needs a 150% rise to get back to that figure!!….. and releasing on a Friday is just not good cricket by anyone’s standards. Shocker

Hi Roger, once again, sorry to hear your predicament here. With reference to your Lindab and Metrotile comment - a news update would obviously be very welcome at this point for any investor here. I was looking at both these companies this week and noted that Lindab are launching their ‘SolarRoof’ very soon, but I’m not convinced the product in their video and picture looks like the Verditek solar panel?
https://www.lindab.com/product/in-focus/solarroof/
Verditek are also not listed in their trusted suppliers page which I found odd if they’re about to launch a solar roof tile with Verditek product?

Hi Roger, this stock seems like its certainly not for the faint hearted so I absolutely commend you for continuing on your journey and hope you eventually achieve the gains you hoped for. As for the placement, although its a kick in the proverbials and a big hit for anyone currently invested, I sometimes try to put a positive spin on things...... so, here goes:
They only went for £500,000
They likely only went to one investor, or an investor went to them (average down opportunity for someone?
They have some ventures in the pipeline that may bare fruit
The flip side:
The Going Concern stated they had adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future but may have needed to raise additional funding in the next 18 months to fund ongoing operations......... this was clearly UNTRUE
"As described in note 2.4, the Directors have considered base case and worst-case scenarios, the Group has secured additional funding by the issue of £500,000 Secured Convertible Loan Notes as announced on 3 May 2023. The Board has used the proceeds of the bond issue principally to repay the Crowd for Angels Bonds which were due for repayment on 18 May (of £221,605) and 3 August 2023 (of £103,253) and to provide additional working capital for the business. As such, the Directors believe that the Company and the Group as a whole have adequate resources to continue in operational existence for the foreseeable future. There is a risk that the Group may need to raise additional funding in the next 18 months to fund ongoing operations, and therefore acknowledge that there is material uncertainty around going concern in this respect. On balance, they continue to adopt the going concern basis in preparing the financial statements"
