Which is weird as in essence they're a defense stock

A year ago. Sitting on ~50% share price increase and have had two divident payouts. Did not expect growth like this. Haven't really been keeping an eye on it as I expected it to be a boring dividend stock but any brief summary as to the pretty much unprecedented sp rise we're seeing?

Absolutely. It was quite obvious there was going to be some consolidation and probably a pullback. Very normal. I sliced 30% off yesterday at 180, if we get a pullback that makes it worth buying back in I will, otherwise I'll keep riding up with my remaining 70% and a bit of profit locked in. Bought in at 100 so pretty happy.

What has happened? What did he do?

Other than to wait until the acquisition and making an extra 1p per share? Am I missing anything?

@mornington yep my average is 20, not quite 50 but still a 500% increase on today's closing price. still not decided whether to be cutting my losses while I'm *only* 80% down or just forget about it and hope for a miracle haha

But what are the chances of going into administration? Are there any signs that this might happen? I'm 85% down and trying to decide whether to just cut my losses. Only a few hundred quid left so its not going to earn me much elsewhere, but every little helps eh?

Asking as I had a similar situation with 4D pharma a few years ago and unfortunately didn't learn my lesson there.

To me looks like that wedge can be traced back to 21st December. Not quite as steep as in your screenshot. Very good chance I'm wrong but from a chart perspective it looks like we might have a bit longer before something happens (for better or worse)

Kinda gave up on this stock. Bought at about 120 back in 2021. Made some very poor decisions and didn't sell when I should have. Haven't looked at it for ages. What's the deal now? The recent rise on bitcoin got me thinking about argo again. Why is it stuck at such a low price when the bitcoin price is almost 60% of its previous ath? I know I'm completely out of the loop and have no idea what's going on now so if someone could provide a very brief summary it would be much appreciated

When was the news released? The earliest article I can find was at 4:22pm yesterday. Too early for any reaction from the market if there were to be any, but it does seem like big news for 4D

New (ish) investor to Val, bought a couple of weeks ago with unfortunate timing. Any idea when we're expecting news? Is VAL401 the closest to getting results? I believe I saw somewhere someone mentioned it's likely to be December?

hey - quite new to this still, would anyone mind explaining to me, we have a valuation of 110p. does this effectively limit the share price to around 110p?

I would like to think it meant it adds a bottom of 110p rather than a ceiling but I was invested in TILS and their valuation was 200p (may be mistaken), but it's hit that once in the last couple of months

I just topped up. My average was 45 so buying at 47 made sense. Don't see COVID news affecting us long term in any way except positively.

does anyone know why there was such a drop down before opening? lots of stocks seem down today but the bad covid news doesn't seem to have caused a drop-down before opening on anything else I'm looking at
